A word of knowledge and prayers saved a woman’s life who nearly died.
Woman Receives Word of Knowledge
It was September 13, 2020, when Tonya Morrison’s pastor suddenly received a word of knowledge from God for her. He shared what he heard saying, “that the Lord was holding her in the palm of His hand.” And “she was going to face some problems in her life that she really wasn’t even aware of.”

Then, 24 hours after receiving that Word, Tonya suddenly fell sick. She went to the doctor, who told her she had to get another test. But later, she became unconscious and had to be rushed to the hospital. Her dad prayed on the way to the hospital.
Praying For Miracle
Then, at the hospital, doctors discovered that her brain was swelling due to water poisoning, which added to a pre-existing diabetes condition. Doctors explained that her life was in danger and prayers started pouring in for Tonya’s life.
“We were depending on the power of prayer and knew that we were asking for a miracle,” Tonya’s father recalled.

Meanwhile, her husband trusted God’s words that the pastor had shared with her on Sunday before she fell ill. He felt concerned, but he knew “she was in God’s hands and nothing could really be bad.”
Three days later, God kept His Word as Tonya amazingly began to recover. Right then, she knew it was the Lord who saved her life. Tonya realized that God has prepared her to face adveristy.
Following Tonya’s recovery, her whole family attested to God’s goodness.
“He came through for us that time in such a magnificent way,” Tonya’s father remarked. “And we are so thankful that the Lord demonstrated His power by saving our daughter.”
