Shall we continue in sin (addiction), that grace may abound? God forbid.

The Chains of Addiction

Addiction is man’s false attempt to satisfy a void that only God can fill

Addiction manifests itself in many forms. Some manifestations are tangible and easy to spot, like substance abuse, overeating or gambling. Then, there are other manifestations that are subtle, deep-seated and hidden within in the walls of your soul, like fear, rejection, or even the need to be accepted by people. Nevertheless, addiction is man’s false attempt to satisfy a void that only God can fill. Christ wants to make you whole. He wants to make you complete. There are no substitutes.

Double-edged Sword

Addiction is a double-edged sword. On one side, there’s lust and on the other, rejection. Lust, the unending appetite for more, the overpowering craving for something that will never be quenched or satisfied. And on the other side, there’s rejection, which reveals itself through insecurities and pride. Pride attempts to mask the problem while insecurity feeds pride. A vicious cycle covering a more severe spiritual problem… Barrenness.

Masking the Problem

Addiction is a carnal attempt to mask a spiritual problem.

No matter how you attempt to dress up your problem with fig leaves, your underlying core condition remains the same, your soul has a void and is in need of a Savior. Addiction is a carnal attempt to mask a spiritual problem. Whatever the struggle, stronghold or addiction that has you bound and enslaved to its power, Christ wants to set you free; forever. He wants to become Lord over your entire heart. He wants to fill that void and barren place with His Love. Trust Him.His Love is stronger than your addiction.

How We Overcome Addiction

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 KJV)

The Word of God crushes every stronghold and defeats every enemy. When you are in Christ, addiction and its false masks of security, have no place or power in Him. Your body, soul, and spirit belong to God. No matter the addiction, that tries to warp its identity around your soul, God’s Word will sever its entanglement.

Declaration prayer 1: Father, I thank you for releasing me from the power and entanglement of addiction.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 KJV)

In Christ, you are no longer a slave to sin.

Addiction is a yoke of bondage, an enslavement that holds you, hostage. It’s an entanglement that wraps itself around your very soul and hijacks your identity. In Christ, you are no longer a slave to sin. Nor are you a servant to its power or chokehold. Your body belongs to Him. You are His treasure, He has paid for you with His Blood. He has set You free.

Declaration prayer 2: I am forgiven and free from every bondage, struggle, and stronghold. The Blood of Jesus washes me, covers me and cleanses me from all unrighteousness. Today I am made whole in God.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. (Isaiah 10:27 KJV)

Jesus Christ is The Anointing

Those who are in Christ, have been given authority by God Himself to enforce His Word and power to command the enemy to flee. When you choose to accept Christ, every stronghold and struggle must loose its grip and it’s condemning power from off of your life. When you are in Christ, He has given you the power to resist the devil, and he will flee. It’s up to you to embrace His Word and trust His promises. The power of sin no longer has it’s death grip on you when you choose Christ and not to serve your flesh. “Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV)

Declaration prayer 3: Ask God, to remove your old appetite and taste, and create in you a clean heart, His Heart. Ask God, to allow you to feel how He feels about sin. Ask God, to give you an appetite to read His Word and to discover what He cares about. Draw closer to Him and He will draw closer to you.

If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:36 KJV)

When you are in Christ, you are no longer identified by the stain of sin, you are identified by His Love and engrafted into His Heart. You are His child. Choose your identifier. Whether you choose to be identified with sin and serve the former master or live Freely in Christ with liberty and power to be called a son of God, it’s your choice. It’s truly your choice. Step into the new life and Trust Christ. Accept your freedom. Reject condemnation. Choose Christ. You have freedom in Him.

Declaration prayer 4: Father God, In The Name of Jesus, I thank you for your undying Love towards me. Lord, I know that I am new to You. Your Love has set me free. Your Blood washes me, cleanses me and makes me whole. I have no lack in You.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (Hebrews 12:1 KJV)

Take Caution

Surround yourself with Godly counsel. Find people who are spiritually stronger and more mature than you in your weak areas. Ask God to send people who are after His Heart to surround you in this critical season – Godly Covenant partners. Lay aside every weight or past temptation that will cause you to stumble. When you feel weak, reach out to God and ask Him for strength, guidance, and direction, He’s always there. “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.” (Psalms 91:15 KJV) Next, utilize your pastor and God given Covenant Accountability Partners. “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”(Proverbs 11:14 KJV)
Finally, run your race with patience and diligence, continue to move toward God and away from your past, God is with you along the way. “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14 KJV)

Beware Double Mindedness

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8 KJV). Double minded behavior brings about instability, slows growth and disrupts your process. Deliberately choose not to pick the addiction back up. “As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.”(Proverbs 26:11 KJV) Release the struggle and let it go. Deliberately shift, repent and turn your sole focus towards God. Choose not to dwell upon your past addiction. He is greater than the addiction.

Truth to Hold on to

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. (Psalms 27:10 KJV)

When others give up, God will never abandon you. He never fails.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 KJV)

He will deliver you from every oppression, depression and every pressure of life.

Trust God. It’s super simple… Just trust God. He will deliver you from every oppression, depression and every pressure of life. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV)

Now unto Him, that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (Jude 1:24, 25 KJV)

God Answers 10-Year-Old Child’s Prayer To Save Premature Baby

God immediately answered a 10-year-old child’s specific prayer to save a premature baby who lost her mother while giving birth.

Save a premature baby

Doctor Helen Roseveare testified about one powerful moment she witnessed while she was working at the hospital and while being a volunteer at an orphanage. She was called to the maternity room one night. A mother gave birth but sadly passed away.

The mother left her 2-year-old daughter and tiny premature baby who survived the delivery. Nurses had to stay up all night to keep the baby warm.

10-year-old child’s specific prayer

The next day, Dr. Helen went to the orphanage for her daily prayer time with the children. She asked the children to pray for that tiny premature baby. Among the group of children is a 10-year-old girl named Ruth who prayed a very specific prayer.

“Please God, send us a hot water bottle. My God, it’ll be no good tomorrow, send it this afternoon. If it comes tomorrow the baby would be dead. While you’re at it God, would you send a dolly for the little two-year-old sister so she should know that Jesus really loves her,” Ruth prayed.

Right after her prayer, a parcel came to Dr. Helen that afternoon with a hot water bottle in it. The parcel has been in transit for five months, but God made a way for it to arrive at that exact moment to answer a child’s prayer. Ruth’s prayer for the 2-year-old girl was also answered as a child from Dr. Helen’s Bible class gave a dolly to the two year old girl.

Prayer doesn’t have to be wordy or perfect, but it must come from a heart that is full of faith in the Lord.

I’m a Warrior for Jesus When I’m Down on My Knees: Prayer is a Weapon!

Prayer is a Weapon!

Did you know that God has given us more than one weapon? Every Christian has three secret weapons (Prayer, giving, fasting) Matthew 6.

Let the Word be the foundation on which all your prayer is built.

Prayer is a weapon of royalty. Prayer is our true weapon; prayer must, however, be based on the Word. 1 John 5:14 -15; ‘Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” The Word is the will of the Father given to us. Let the Word be the foundation on which all your prayer is built.

Time to do Battle

We must also have a specific prayer time, dedicated to meditating on the Word and praying about every aspect of your life both in your understanding and in the language of the spirit.
Let Proverbs 3:6 be your guide, – in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Let this be a time when you let God know every issue, confusion, decision; every detail of your life burdening you. We have to be trusting and understanding as you submit your ways (decisions) to God that He will direct your path. This time of communion must be the most convenient time, during which there must be no distractions. As a mother, dawn is the best time for me, as I am guaranteed zero or minimal distractions.

Make Prayer a Habit

A friend of mine once mentioned that doing something for 21 days guarantees that it becomes a habit! In my usual stance of faith, I took it as a message from Daddy God and asked for help from the Holy Spirit. I don’t believe in coincidences; I believe He is constantly speaking to us (that is why you are reading this article)
I started waking up at 2 am to spend time with the Lord. I marked the 21 days on my calendar. Surely after the 21 days, it became a habit, I would wake up automatically at 2 am with the help of the Holy Spirit. Spend time in prayer, it is all we have, that is our weapon, use it!

Conduct Yourself Properly

Can you imagine a Royalty fighting and shouting in the streets? You would ask yourself why she is behaving like a commoner. Has she forgotten who she is?

And yet on many occasions, we behave like that. We answer that rude colleague at work with an equally rude answer. We exchange insults with our co-tenant to show her that, she cannot get away with her insults.
“Don’t come for me; if you don’t want trouble”- these are the words we spoke as paupers, but unfortunately many still repeat these words after becoming royalty.

For our spouses, we manipulate them and ensure that he pays for every hurt, by embarking on long-standing silence wars, denying romance, talking negatively about him to family and friends or an outright shouting match.

The reason we do all this is because we have made it our duty to fight each battle, which is what an orphan/ pauper does. An orphan does this because they have no one to fight for them.
You are a Royalty, daughter/son of the King of Kings, who contends for you. Don’t waste your energy worrying, fighting back, or manipulating people. Report it all to your Father, the King.

The King Cares About His Children

Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.

The Lord is asking His princes and princesses to give all their burdens to Him, what a Good, Good Father.

Philippians 4:6-7, invites us to not be anxious about anything, but when anxiety sets in, when we feel anxiety taking over us, we must bring ALL our requests to God. God knows the world we are in, and the issues and problems we will face! Don’t be hard on yourself when you start feeling anxious, it is not a sin to feel anxiety, however, don’t give it influence, and give the Word of God influence instead.

Hold on to your faith, we hold on to the faith that He cares and He wants us to bring ALL these issues to Him. When we turn all to Him, His promise is that peace, His peace will guard our heart. So even though the issues may be fact, His reality of peace and deliverance is a greater reality.

Believe that your vindication will shine like the noonday sun (Psalm 37:6).

Spiritual Warfare

Your weapons are not your wit, intelligence, beauty, charm or looks.

The weapons of our warfare are not physical and yet many of us, go back to the controlling ways of the old dead person when we devise ways of solving issues yourself, ways of teaching someone a lesson, avenging yourself or putting people in their place.Whatever issue you are warring against your weapons are not your wit, intelligence, beauty, charm or looks.

Get on your knees and do warfare, take refuge under the shadow of the Almighty. Let Him fight for you, let the Mighty One of Jacob fight for you.

Total submission, total dependence, and humility allow God to move in your life.

Here are 10 prayer points for a marriage:

Pray for unity & to not fight each other but fight the problem.

As it is stated in Ecclesiastes 4:12 & Ephesians 6:12 there is power when two people join together to fight against evil and darkness.

Pray to see your spouse out of God’s love with full forgiveness.

“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” -1 Peter 4:8

Pray for wisdom & good decisions.

The Scripture repeatedly tells us that wisdom comes from God and that we need to depend on His wisdom and not our own understanding.

Pray to not focus on the other person’s faults but see the best in one another.

“How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye?” -Luke 6:42

Pray for intimacy, connection, and service towards one another.

Paul has clearly stated in Ephesians 5 how the Lord designed marriage. A married couple should have more than intimacy with each other, but as well as connection and service towards one another.

Pray for humility, and to consider the others’ needs before your own.

One should value and love their spouse by placing their interests above oneself.

Pray for love to keep growing every day.

“May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.” -1 Thessalonians 3:12

Pray to seek God’s kingdom first and not focus on money or worries.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” -Matthew 6:33

Pray for the abundance of rejoicing, gratitude, and peace.

As a couple, do not be anxious about anything but pray about everything. This is how the peace of God will guard your heart from any deceit of the enemy.

Pray for the fruit of the spirit to abound.

Pray for the fruits of the Spirit to abound in your marriage. Pray for love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control over your relationship.

Man Receives Healing And Leaves Service Without Crutches

In Matthew 10:8 Jesus commands the disciples, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” As believers, Jesus’ command to the disciples is still true for us today. We are called to pray for healing. We are actually called to be believing believers!

The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you and I (Romans 8:11)! We aren’t the ones who heal, but His healing power flows through us and touches the lives of others. Let’s paint a picture. When a garden hose is connected to a source of water and the water is turned on, it flows through the hose. The hose is not the water, but it is the container or vessel in which the water flows. You and I are like garden hoses that can connect to the source, Jesus, to allow His healing power and life to flow through us.

No more crutches

One evening this young man came up at the end of the church service and asked for prayer for healing. He had recently had surgery and could not put any weight on his leg. He went on to explain that the surgery had left him with wires and screws in his leg. As we began to pray, he began to experience the presence of God. It wasn’t long before he was weeping as the love of the Father pour over him…and he hadn’t even had prayer for his leg yet!

Once the man’s weeping subsided the prayer servants began to pray for his leg. We prayed for a few minutes and then asked the young man to see if he noticed any improvement…and he could actually put a little weight on it. We thanked Jesus for the improvement and prayed again. He tested his leg again and was able to put even more weight on it. We prayed one more time and he was able to put all his weight on his leg! Thank you Jesus!

A few minutes later, he was seen trying to walk around the edge of the sanctuary – without his crutches. He was walking with a slight limp, but with all his weight on his leg. By the time he got to the front of the church there wasn’t even a limp!!!

Do you need healing?

If you need physical healing in your body, declare this over yourself right now…

Thank you Jesus that you are the Healer. I declare that by Your stripes I am healed. I speak to (insert body part) and command all pain/sickness to leave in Jesus name!

If you can, test to see if you experienced any improvements. Celebrate what Jesus is doing and pray again. If not, pray again.

Remember, our job is to be the hose and it is Jesus’ job to heal our bodies!

How To Pray And See Results

As believers we are commanded throughout the Bible to pray. Jesus teaches us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13, ““This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation,but deliver us from the evil one.'”

Have you ever gone to pray and not known what to pray? Maybe you feel like your prayers are hitting the ceiling? Jesus wouldn’t command us to do something He hasn’t equipped us to do. He wants to partner with you and I to see His “Kindgom come” and “will be done” (Matthew 6:10).

Three keys for seeing results in prayer

Pray like Jesus

Jesus was fully God and fully man. God sent Him to the earth to show us how to live a naturally, supernatural life. He restricted Himself as God and lived His life as a man in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Jesus prayers were powerful and effective…and short,Matthew 8:3 – Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.

Matthew 9:22 – Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

Mark 5:8 – For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

When Jesus prayed He command the situation and circumstances to change. He spoke to the leper’s hand and told the storm how to behave. Let’s stop praying half-hearted prayers hoping and begging God to answer. It’s time to pray like Jesus prayed in faith and speak to things. We are co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17)!

Take risks

Peter didn’t walk on water by staying in the boat. Paul didn’t see demon possessed people healed by sitting on the sidelines. As believers, we have to get into the game and take the risks. It’s the only way we will see Heaven come to earth. Start trying the things you read in the bible. Speak to sickness in the name of Jesus and see if it leaves. You’ll never know unless you try!

Remember, you are a hose

A hose is vessel in which water flows. Hoses are only effective at transporting water if they are connected to a water source. Our spiritual lives are the same. We are vessels of the power and presence of God. As we connect to Him as our source His life flows through us to nourish.

The hose is not the source of life, the water is. A believer is not the source of life, the resurrection power of Jesus Christ is. Both just happen to flow through the vessel.

What are you going to do?

Maybe you’re prayers haven’t worked in the past, but armed with these three keys I challenge you to try again!

The results are up to Him. Your responsibility is simply to pray like Jesus, keep take risks, and be a vessel for His resurrection power to flow through!

Jesus gave us the tools of prayer, fasting, and giving to help us to be victorious in in life.

“So, Jesus is saying you have three main enemies attacking your spiritual growth and I want you to secretly develop this system and a habit. Secretly begin to give, secretly begin to pray, secretly begin to fast, and while you’re doing it, to please the Father, instead of being known by men, you’re actually defeating three main enemies Satan sends to stop your spiritual growth.”

Pastor Vlad then explained that our busy schedule is not what’s keeping us from an intimate relationship with Jesus.

“The real reason people don’t pray is not because they’re busy, it’s because they’re proud. Prayer is the greatest assault on pride.”

Woman’s Son Was Delivered After Being Baptized In A Satanic Temple

Yamisbel Garcia shared how God used someone to deliver his son after being baptized in a Satanic temple.

Because of her upbringing, Yamisbel found herself searching for love at a young age.

“I was rejected at conception. My mother was in her early 20s, and she had three children. They were all small, under the age of five. When she found out that she was expecting another child, she tried home remedies to have an abortion. Obviously, it didn’t work,” she said.

Yamisbel grew up in a very abusive household.At times, he was also violent toward her and her siblings. This only drove Yamisbel farther from her parents.

Her Son Was Baptized in a Satanic Temple

Yamisbel’s siblings eventually left home and she was the only one left with their parents.

“I became rebellious because I felt abandoned. I was the only one left at home, so I became very rebellious, to the point where I’m like talking back. And all the abuse that I saw was affecting me,” she said.

Then she met the father of her children in Puerto Rico. Yamisbel got pregnant at age 17. Because of her partner’s spiritual beliefs, she agreed to baptize her son in a Satanic temple.

MATT MAHER: “THE CLOSER WE GET TO GOD, THE MORE WE CAN’T STAY THE SAME”

When they got entangled with her partner’s family problems, they moved to the United States.

There, she met a man who introduced Jesus to her.

“In a Cage”

“I started working at a Colombian bakery. It so happened that the owner of the Colombian bakery was a Christian. He was a Christian leader, and that was the first time I ever heard about Jesus. … And I remember every time he used to talk about Jesus, I used to be in awe. I would make sure that I get the bakery clean and everything is done before my time is up so I can sit down and we can have coffee and talk about Jesus,” Yamisbel recalled.

When her son came to the bakery, the owner said something strange to Yamisbel.

“He said, “I see in the spirit that your son is in a cage. Is there any type of prayer upon him because I keep seeing him in this cage in the spirit?” And I was like, “Well, I mean, I baptized him in a satanic temple,” she recalled.

Her Son Was Delivered After Being Baptized In A Satanic Temple

The owner was taken aback, but he knew he had to do something.

“He was like, he gave me a little prayer; he wrote it down, and he said to plead the blood of Jesus over my son and pray for him every night,” Yamisble said.

She prayed overnight for her son and did this consistently for about a week.

And then her son started walking as if it were like he had come back to life.

Praise God!

“And to me, it was like, “Wow.” It was the first time that I ever saw firsthand the power of Jesus,” she said.

As Dad was about to spend time in prayer in their living room, he was surprised to see his six-year-old daughter beat him to it. He caught his little girl kneeling in front of the TV crying out to God.

Zee Radcliffe grew up inside the church of the Victory Outreach. Raised by parents who serve as ministers, Zee witnessed the transformative power of God at work in the people’s lives. And now, as a parent himself, he is teaching his children to honor the Word of God and to love His incredible presence.

Raising godly children needs modeling. And so, Zee, an ordained pastor and a Christian artist, is intentional in his walk in Christ inside their home. He and his wife display their worship and prayer time in front of their kids.

And one day, as Zee went downstairs, a precious sight caught him by surprise. He saw his daughter, Winter, spending time with God.

He shared, “Walked downstairs to pray, but my baby beat me to it.. This wasn’t scripted.. She got her own setup, turned on worship, and spent time with Jesus.. I’m in awe. Her prayers are so simple and pure.”

His six-year-old daughter prayed on her knees to God. “I’m going to go with You, God. I know I’m going to go with You,” she prayed. She even told God how she won’t listen to the world but only to Him.

The memorable moment reminded Zee of a bible verse. “But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”

‬When Winter was still in her mother’s womb, Zee would continually pray over her to be a lover of God’s presence. And it seems Zee’s prayers are being answered now.

A former Satanist reveals how Christians protect themselves from demonic attacks through their prayers to God.

In a video clip shared by Instagram user @Jesusrealhope, an ex-Satanist was interviewed by Faith Testimonies. The interviewer asked her about her experience during her time as a devil worshipper, and she took the opportunity to reveal how the demons are powerless against one of the weapons of the Christians.

She first confessed her position in the cult she was in. According to her, she was a Chandler. She served as a mediator, conversing with the demons and then relaying the messages to the rest of the cult.

Their initial goal was simply to cause chaos, but that changed when she met Satan himself. Through her role, she actually got to talk to Satan.

“It changed the trajectory of the cult,” she said. “And we started attacking just Christians, going after clergy, specifically.”

Prayer Protects

The group had names, addresses, and workplaces of those they should go against.

“And that’s what we did. We just harassed Christians.”

But as they proceeded with their demonic assignments, they realized that there were certain Christians who were not affected by their attacks.

She recalled, “I went to travel in the spirit, astral projection, to influence … lust or something on a Christian. And in the spirit, I would see like a dome, like a blue dome, over groups of Christians that were praying. Through those experiences, I connected that we could not attack Christians as they were actively praying protection from God. Like there was a no go-zone, just absolutely, no power.”

And now that she has turned to Christ, she takes comfort in the truth that when she prays, the enemy has no power against her and their plans fail.

Her revelation proves that demons and Satanists have assignments on people who are actively engaged in worshiping and ministering. However, she also exposed that the demonic assignments hold no power against Christians who are active in prayer.
