Queen Elizabeth reveals how Christ’s teachings have guided her throughout her life at a conference in London.

Finally, two years after the pandemic, the Lambeth Conference was once again realized in London. It is a decennial assembly of the Anglican Communion. And Queen Elizabeth sent an inspiring message to the group, revealing her relationship with Christ.
In her speech, the queen shared her gratefulness to the assembly wherein 165 countries participated. In a report by The Christian Post, she welcomed everyone with warm greetings in her message. She also stressed how the event “is taking place at a time of great need for the love of God—both in Word and deed.”
Queen Elizabeth highlighted the importance of the Christian group’s “ongoing commitment towards Christian unity in a changing world.” And how the church plays a significant role in what is happening with the world today.
Further, she added how God’s servants consequently have a burden to serve at this point. Especially “in places of “suffering, conflict, and trauma.”
“It is of comfort to me that you do so in the strength of God,” she wrote in her address.
The queen also brought up one of the major concerning issues of the world nowadays—climate change. She told of the threats it imposes to society, especially in “the lives and livelihoods of many people and communities.” More so to the less fortunate.
Hence, she became interested in the Christian group’s programme concerning “on the theme of the environment.”
“A cause close to the heart of my late husband,” she said. “And carried on by The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Cambridge.”
In the end, the queen remarked on Christ’s guidance all throughout her life.
The “message and teachings of Christ have been my guide,” she said. “[A]nd in them I find hope. It is my heartfelt prayer that you will continue to be sustained by your faith in times of trial and encouraged by hope at times of despair.”
Finally, the queen sent her blessing on the success of their initiated conference.
“I send my warmest good wishes to you all for a successful Conference. And may God bless you in your ministry and service in his world,” Queen Elizabeth concluded.
