As children of God, we have been forgiven, washed in the precious blood of Jesus, brought into the Kingdom of God, filled with the Holy Spirit of God, made victorious in Christ, born for Works that God is shaping and building us up for, called to be bold, steadfast and immovable… how blessed are we!
I want to encourage us all to move on in Christ so that when we stand before God, He will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Our past and circumstances should not determine how we live now. Our circumstances should not shape us, the WORD OF GOD SHOULD, it is LIVING, POWERFUL and the TRUTH! We are to BELIEVE what the Word says about us, OBEY what the Word of God says, we are to glorify God in our actions. Daily SPEAK over us what the Word says, it is living, and powerful, sharper than a two edged sword. It is life changing!

We can know the Bible back to front (and we should) but it is not just about how much we know, it’s about how much we put into practice. God tells us to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). Why? Because as new creations, we have to think in a new way now, behave in a new way, speak in a new way with the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are to be like Jesus.
So, who and what are we listening to today? Our fleshly thoughts, the devil or God? What are we relying on, feelings? Our feelings come and go, one minute we are up and the next we are sometimes down again. Do we listen to others? Who ever it is, always check what we hear with the Word of God, make sure it ties up with it.
Spend time in the Presence of God, take time to listen, He wants to speak to us. Let us be steadfast in what He shows us. Don’t waver, God is faithful, His Word is truth, it never changes.
We have been called out of the world although we are living in it. We are “New Creations”; called to be different! And yes, we do make mistakes, and get it wrong. Let’s learn from these times. Give it to God straight away, turn from it and LET IT GO! MOVE ON! GOD has forgiven us, so we must forgive ourselves.
Let us not trample underfoot all that Jesus has done for us… Let us get rid of all unbelief, everything that we know to be wrong, negative thoughts, compromise, un-forgiveness… and dwell and live the Word of God. This is how we GROW! This is how we will please God. Let us choose today who we will serve. We are CHILDREN OF THE KING! “We are MORE than conquerors!”
My brother once said to me, “There is no place like home.” The Holy Spirit spoke to me clearly saying, “THE WORD OF GOD IS YOUR HOME NOW.”
Question for us: What does the world see when they look at us and when we are alongside people how different are we?
