A church preacher answered the question, “When does God feel loved?” He stated that it is by inscribing God’s Word in our hearts.
When Does God Feel Loved?
Church elder Steve from Saving Grace Church referenced Deuteronomy 6:4-7 in his message delivery. It says, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
Based on the passage, Steve believes that God feels loved when His people write His word in their hearts. He explained, “Everybody feels loved when people remember what they say, right? So, if you wanna love someone, you better remember what he or she said. And write it on the tablet of your heart.”
Steve continued by providing an example of a person giving a gift to their loved one because they remembered the recipient’s preferences. If a person finds joy in this act, how much more does God? He said, “Imagine how God feels when we choose to remember what He said, word for word, and look to Him by scripture memory.”
“If we know to feel loved by people remembering us what we say, how much more would God feel? That’s His love language.”
Furthermore, Steve proved his point by sharing John 14:15. It says, “Jesus said, ‘If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.'” Jesus confirmed Steve’s message by what He said in the passage.
So, how can you love God with all your soul, heart, and strength? Write His Word in your heart. By doing so, God feels loved and adored.
