The song “Tightrope” from the movie The Greatest Showman is a wonderful song. It reflects the love and deep commitment required in a relationship. That’s what our journey with God is all about. We are in a relationship with Him which also requires love, trust, and commitment.
When you listen to the Christian remix of the song below, retitled ‘High Road’ you realize how wonderful our journey with God is. It speaks about an adventure to the great unknown. We seek to chase Him and His will, and not just our own will. We follow Him even though we don’t know what will happen next. All we know is that He will catch us when we fall and His love will always rescue us.
We often face high mountains and deep valleys, we may travel on an unknown path, but this song says that we have to risk it all. If we choose to surrender our life to Jesus it means we choose to be with Him anywhere He wants us to go. It means following Him on an adventure that requires much faith and trust.
The question is, “Are you ready to walk the high road with God? Are you willing to risk it all?” If the answer is a big “YES!”, then prepare yourself for a great adventure with God.
