What do you do when you don’t feel like worshipping?

Saving Grace Church worship leader Haemin answered a question that is asked by many. What do we have to do when we don’t feel like worshipping? Many of us have experienced moments when our desire to worship God isn’t htere. There’s only one thing that we can to do in those moments, and that is to worship God anyway.
“There are days when you don’t want to worship, there are days when you don’t want to lift your hands and you don’t want to shout. And you’re tired, you’re hungry or maybe you’re bitter towards God. Maybe you don’t want to give God that worship or maybe you lack faith. Maybe you don’t believe God is really dwelling here. But it’s at that moment, when you bind those thoughts, all those emotions and then you just lift your hands and then you surrender. And then you allow God to do the work for you, amen?”

What to do when you don’t feel like worshipping?
Even if you don’t feel like it, get up and praise the name of Jesus because He is worthy.
“If you don’t feel like it, raise your hands, if you don’t feel like it, shout the name of Jesus.”
Give God the worship He deserves and remember that God gave His all to bring you out of death into life!
“Train yourselves to give rightful worship to God, train yourselves to give that rightful worship because He deserves it. It’s not about you, the corporate worship is not about you, it’s about God deserving and receiving that worship from us… The Holy Spirit will come like a rushing wind and He’ll remind you that you’ve been bought with the blood of Jesus. That you’ve been brought from death to life.”
