Denzel Washington Tells Students to “Put God First”
I love watching people with large platforms glorify God sharing their strength and hope with everyone. Like we’ve seen here in the past: Justin Bieber, his mom Pattie Mallette, Sadie Robertson, Graham Allen, Clayton Jennings, Tim Tebow, Dwayne Johnson, Selena Gomez, and now Denzel Washington! Encouraging people to not give up and more so when they give credit to the Father for the very position that they have been given. They face ridicule and are mocked but they do not care.
Their boldness increases mine; it shows me that if God is in it, then nothing can stop it! When God has his hand on you, the enemy can never block your blessings or stop you!
In delivering the commencement speech at Dillard University, Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington told the college graduates to put God first in everything they do, adding that everything he has accomplished in this life was due to the grace of God.
