The Christian author and speaker often shares short messages on his Instagram account to help Christian in their daily walk of faith. In one of his recent videos, pastor Vlad talked about the importance of keeping our devotional life active.
For a Christian, our daily devotionals is the time we spent every day communing with the Lord through reading the Scriptures and praying. It is a vital part of our lives that keeps our relationship with Lord strong.

Neglecting to keep our daily quiet time with the Lord can be detrimental. When we miss out on time to build our intimacy with Christ, that can lead to struggles.
“When your devotional life goes to sleep, your past life wakes up. Nobody goes to sleep spiritually without their devotional life going to sleep first. Those things you got freed from, things you left, they seem to be coming back at a faster pace. Because if you don’t pray, you will stray.”
To keep our faith growing and alive, we must feed our spirit everyday with His Word.
“Jesus says, ‘Abide in Me and let My words abide in you.’ That abiding is not just some kind of a belief that you have, there’s a practical part. As a Christian, you feed your spirit with the Word of God. Whatever you need to do, to keep your devotional life awakened, do that. ”
