A toddler suffering from spina bifida and hydrocephalus goes viral after her mother uploads a video of him singing “Lord, I Need You.”
Toddler singing goes viral
Sierra Rehrer is a mom living with her toddler and husband in O’ahu, an island in Honolulu, Hawaii. In June this year, she started sharing on her TikTok account the journey of their family with their 2-year-old son, Jack. Most of her shared video contents are of her son singing praises to the Lord.
Jack was born with spina bifida, “a condition that affects the spine and is usually apparent at birth,” and hydrocephalus, a build-up of fluid in the brain cavities. Because of his health conditions, his spinal cord and nerves have been damaged and it left him unable to walk.
Thankfully, his mother is a physical therapist and she is helping Jack regain some of his leg strength. A special wheelchair was also created for him to fit his needs. Sierra is not posting Jack on her social media to get pity, but she is posting him to encourage people.
“Lord, I Need You”
Jack loves music and Jesus so much. Every day, he is filling their home with songs of praise. People are loving him because of his adorable personality and faith in the Lord.
“Jack, I love that you fill our home with worship and singing! what a great prayer! May the God of peace make you holy in every way!”
One of his videos that went viral was the video of him and his father singing “Lord, I Need You” by Matt Maher. He adorably sang the lyrics while playing the ukelele. That video has snow over 2.5 million views and almost half a million likes!
