A 28-year-old young woman healed from throat cancer testified that Jesus was still working and doing miracles.
Throat Cancer
A woman, Sydney Zambo, was diagnosed with throat cancer. Her sickness started when she felt pain in her throat while having high fevers. “The tumor was on the inside of my throat, not bulging out on my neck, but it felt really big on the inside,” she explained. Because of this, she was bedridden for four months.
Then, one morning, she noticed that her voice was completely gone. She couldn’t speak. But despite the pain, she still managed to pray and found strength to read the Bible while she was in bed. Moreover, she lost weight and had no appetite. The constriction in the throat and the pain prevented her from eating solid foods. “Everything in my body started changing. Even my skin started hurting,” she said.
Because of her suffering, she began to lose hope. “I believed in my heart that I was going to die from this cancer. I was so afraid because the same cancer killed my mother. My mother had gone to the hospital, and she even had surgery, but three months later, she was dead,” she recalled. Fear tried to consume her, but Jesus kept working in her life.

Christ For All Nations Gospel Crusade
In December 2013, Sydney came to the Christ For All Nations (CFAN) Gospel Crusade to pray for a miracle. Her sister needed to carry her because she was too weak to walk. She was sitting in the crowd with others who were sick. She prayed to God that she wouldn’t leave the place the way she came. Then, a servant of God was praying and said that there was a young woman who had throat cancer.
After that, the servant declared healing, and then Sydney felt something in her body. “I felt something like a wind… pushing me from behind. And I fell off my chair to the ground. The next thing I know, I’m standing. I was standing up on my feet,” she testified. The pain miraculously left her. In fact, she was able to walk on the stage, and Daniel Kolenda, the president of CFAN, interviewed and prayed for her.
“The Lord healed me from cancer of the throat. He healed me of the paralysis in my legs, and now, I can walk… I want to say this to everyone. Jesus Christ is still working today. He’s still doing miracles,” she testified.
