Thousands of soldiers were captured in the video genuinely worshiping God right inside their base camp.
Thousands of soldiers
It is so heart-warming to see men and women in uniform who are called to serve their nations prioritize God in their lives. These people were called to one of the toughest jobs which will sometimes require their sacrifice for the good of all the people in their nation. Instead of relying on their own strength, these people are relying on God.
Thousands of soldiers in the Fort Jackson Military Camp base were caught on camera genuinely worshiping the Lord. Some of them were kneeling down and some of them are raising their hands as they sing “Oceans.” As they sang the chorus, the lyrics show just how much they trust the Lord.
“Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders. Let me walk upon the waters, in the presence of my Savior,” the soldiers sang.

Genuinely Worshiping God
The Fort Jackson Military Camp has always supported its troop’s spirituality as they often have weekly services in their camp. They also appointed a Military Chaplain inside their camp. The chapel is always open from Monday morning to Friday afternoon for anyone who needed someone to talk to or someone to pray for them.
“The ministry team consists of: U.S. Army Chaplains and Chaplain Assistants; civilian employees and contractors; and a vast array of carefully screened and selected chapel volunteers. Together, they provide a comprehensive and resilient spiritual support system for Soldiers, Families, and many others who choose a chapel as their place of worship,” their website reads.
