We’re all going through a battle right now. Maybe you’re a doctor or nurse on the front lines, fighting this COVID-19 war. Maybe you’re at home fighting your own mind. Maybe you’re fighting fear. Maybe you’re fighting with the loss of a loved one. Maybe you’re fighting with pain. Maybe you’re fighting with your finances. Maybe you’re fighting with depression. Maybe you’re fighting with loneliness.
Maybe you’re just fighting…
It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. It’s okay to feel weak. But remember, you do not fight alone. Whatever you’re fighting, I want to remind you that the God of every victory is surrounding you and fighting for you. When Jesus took on that cross, He won the victory over every battle you’ll ever fight. It’s time to walk in His victory. It’s time to walk in the identity of the cross; of the empty tomb. This is how we WIN our battles.
I love how simple, yet powerful the words of this song are. Sing along below and declare the victory of Jesus over you and your battle.
Lyrics:
Verse
This is how I fight my battles
Chorus
It may look like I’m surrounded
But I’m surrounded by You
Bridge
Rock of Ages Cleft for me
Let me hide, let me hide
Let me hide myself in thee
