There’s a big difference between a Christian guy and a man of God.
Christian guy
A podcaster shared the difference between a Christian guy and a man of God to help single ladies in their dating season. In the podcast, the host is lists the differences between those guys who just go to church and those guys who really have a relationship with Jesus.
“There’s a big difference between a Christian guy and a man of God,” he highlighted. “A Christian guy might say that he loves you, but a man of God will love God more than you. A Christian guy might text you Bible verses or have a tattoo of them, but a man of God will live out those verses and have them written on his heart.”
Man of God
One of the most significant differences between the two is that one would compromise a woman’s purity and one would protect it. The man of God knows how precious one’s purity is and will do everything to secure the purity of the woman he loves and his own.
“A Christian guy might go to church or wear a cross around his neck, but a man of God will see that the highest calling is to give Christ glory. A Christian guy might accidentally compromise your purity, but a man of God will protect it above all else.”
Christian single ladies
For all the single Christians reading this, you need the help of the Holy Spirit to know whether a man is a man of God or not. Guard your heart at all costs and wait for the right man God has for you to pursue you.
“A Christian guy might seem super attractive, fun, or handsome, but a man of God will have a beautiful heart regardless of his looks. A Christian guy might be content to just take you out, but a man of God will go beyond superficial and hold you up before God in his prayers all the time.”
