God has blessed us so that we can be a blessing to others. Jesus has reconciled us to the Father, blessing us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3), but with the goal that we would bless others with the good news of the gospel. Christians should be the happiest people in the world! Even when circumstances don’t make us feel happy, we have joy because of Jesus.
Living Stone Ministries Encourages Believers To Choose Breakthrough
Living Stone Ministries is led by Apostle Edgar Holder and his wife Pastor Irma Holder. According to their website, “Living Stone Ministries’ mission is to translate the depth of the Gospel into identity and practical applications, enabling each individual to live the way Jesus Christ showed: as an overcomer and ultimately a builder of the Kingdom of God…”
When we choose to live as kings and priests, as God’s beloved children, in a Kingdom where nothing is impossible, we are choosing breakthrough. We are blessed to be a blessing! Apostle Edgar Holder explains it like this: “The accomplished work of Jesus Christ is absolutely for every born again believer, in fact, for every human being.” He encourages us to rejoice today and to take hold of the breakthrough that is available to us. “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
Sharing The Good News Of Jesus
Most of us know John 3:16, but let’s take a look at how it keeps going in verse 17:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
God’s love is the reason for everything He does. He IS love. The Father wants everyone reconciled to Him. When Jesus was sending out the disciples, He wanted them to proclaim that the Kingdom of heaven was near. He was ready and waiting for people to be set free from sickness, bondage, and death.
There is breakthrough in the kingdom! The disciples were blessed by receiving from Him, and now they were being sent out to be a blessing to the lost sheep of Israel.
“As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give” (Matthew 10:7-8).
Blessed To Be A Blessing
If you are born again, you have been raised with Christ and seated in heavenly places. “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6). If you are raised with Christ, you can see things from His perspective; from heaven’s perspective. You carry the keys that lead to breakthrough. There is a heavenly answer to every earthly problem. Sometimes we just need to remember how blessed we are. It’s not about money and nice things, it’s about having hope!
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you” (1 Peter 1:3-4).
People who have yet to know Jesus are only living for the here and now, but we carry good news to share with them. They do not need to despair.
When we step into who we really are in Him, and we share this kingdom message, we are stepping into breakthrough and bringing breakthrough to others.
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly” (Romans 5:6).
The blessing doesn’t end with you. You have been blessed to be a blessing.
Receive This Prayer
Father, thank you that “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows” (James 1:17). You are a good Father! We receive all that you have given us though your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to preach the good news and to do the things Jesus did. We want to see breakthrough today, and to be a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
