The famous actor and wrestler, Mr. T, has called on his fellow Americans to pray because “the Nation that prays together, stays together.”
July 4
During the United States’ Independence Day celebration on July 4, celebrities and influencers have expressed their greetings on their respective social media. But, some of those posting were not so encouraging.
Through some of the negative responses, one of them stood out because of his different opinion. Instead of writing a negative commemorative message, he issued an open call of unity through prayer.
Mr. T
He posted, “Happy Birthday America and Happy Independence Day! The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. The Red, the White, and the Blue. In God we Trust!”
We the people; together we stand, divided we fall! Black and white together, we shall overcome some day! The Nation that prays together, stays together!

“We the people; together we stand, divided we fall! Black and white together, we shall overcome some day! The Nation that prays together, stays together!”
Lawrence Tureaud, popularly known as Mr. T, has used his online platform to share inspiring messages and encouragements. Most of the time, he would share bible verses with his reflection.
Bold In Faith
One was his take on how to live in peace with your enemies. He tweeted, “To live in Peace with Friends is easy, but what about your enemies? Can we be honest with each other? That’s hard to do and may be impossible?”
“To live in peace, you have to put aside hatred, bitterness, fear, and forgiveness! Jesus said, ‘With man, this is impossible, …but with God, all things are possible,’ Matthew 19:26.”
Moreover, his words are supplemented with his actions. He believes that a Christian’s calling is to be a blessing for others because of the blessings a believer receives from God. “My Actions are my way of Thanking God for all of the Blessings He has bestowed upon me! Because, ‘The Blessed of us must try to save the less of us,” he said.
The 70-years-old outspoken Christian has donated to several charity organizations to help natural tragedy victims and cancer patients.
May more celebrity Christians use their influence to represent Christ.
