‘Heal the land of Pearl Harbor’ Chad Dedmon declared on a prayer paddle off the coast of Oahu last week.
Accompanied by 7 others, Dedmon paddle boarded to the historic grounds to pray and contend for spiritual healing in the nation and land.
In the video shared on his instagram, an incredible rainbow stretches over the group as they paddle and pray. “There are signs all over saying this water is contaminated. So Lord, we pray that your blood would heal the waters” he declares. “And Lord, bless our military, bless their mental health issues, any problems in their family, Lord that you would crash in maybe even physical pain from injuries in combat.”
Speaker and surfing pastor, Dedmon frequents beaches around the world (and his home state of California) to declare God’s truth. These adventures are accompanied by others who share his passion and zeal to see God’s goodness crash into the earth today.
While praying specifically for Hawaii, the group blessed the state and armed forces located there.
The attack on Pearl Harbor
On December 7, 1941 more than 2,400 Americans died from the Japenese attack on the U.S. naval base. The following day, President Franklin D. Roosevelt requested Congress declare war on Japan, propelling the United States into World War II.
“Pearl Harbor is a place where people from far-flung corners of the world can come together in peace to honor the memory of the fallen and to celebrate the ultimate triumph of the human spirit.” The historic’s site landing page states.
“So thankful for our military and their sacrifice for our freedom!” Dedmon wrote on his instagram post, “We declared that the God of Hope would crash into military families healing ptsd, trauma, and any repercussions from serving our country! God is releasing wholeness to families in this season! Let’s come into agreement for a healing wave in our land!”
