A woman who was sexually assaulted during her entire childhood met Jesus in her most broken state and forgave her predator who happens to be her dad.

Predator Father

Alicia Nicholas had a dark childhood. Even when she had both parents present in their home, she wasn’t safe. Unfortunately, her father started molesting her at five years old. He threatened her to keep quiet or he’ll harm her. And so, since then, the molestation and sexual assault continued for the next several years.

For nine long years, Alicia endured her dad’s abuse. What’s even worse was that her mother blamed her when she confessed it to her. As a child, the young Alicia felt helpless and broken. Moreover, her shame and guilt grew bigger as she grew older.

At 14, Alicia got pregnant with her dad’s baby. She went through an abortion because of it. That’s when suicidal thoughts began to cloud her mind. She would often try to harm herself. Then, at 15, her parents abandoned her.

Turning To Drugs And Alcohol

Soon after, Alicia turned to hard drugs and alcohol to drown her pain. At 20 years old, she was in a car accident where she begged God to save her. And indeed, God saved her life. After the incident, she stopped using drugs. But she couldn’t give up on her addiction to alcohol because of her painful childhood memories. Her thoughts of ending her life never left as well.

Later, Alicia tried different religions to seek love and validation. She also tried Santeria, but none of them satisfied her.

One day, a Christian childhood friend invited Alicia to church. She attended the Easter Sunday service where she felt the Presence of God for the first time. As the worship was ongoing, she asked God to deliver her from all her sins. Then, she felt a huge weight off her lifted.

Struggling With Drugs & Sexuality

Life was challenging for Edna as a child. She had an abusive, alcoholic, and drug-addicted father. However, what pained the little girl even more were the things her father didn’t do for her as his daughter. She yearned for his fatherly affection.

The broken life Edna experienced led her to start drinking alcohol at an early age. By the age of nine, it became her way of escaping and numbing herself from pain. Moreover, as a teenager, she found herself attracted to the same sex. She developed feelings for girls because they made her feel cared for. Since then, she has struggled with her identity.

Subsequently, Edna altered her appearance and started dressing like a boy. Additionally, during college, she engaged in sexual relationships with both men and women. Furthermore, her addiction to alcohol and drugs worsened.

Encountering God At 41

For many years, Edna’s life centered around alcohol, drugs, and sex. She found herself in and out of jail for two decades. However, one day, she reached her breaking point.

At the age of 41, Edna was arrested by the police on cocaine trafficking charges. Consequently, she was sentenced to ten years in prison. At that moment, depression consumed her, and she spent most of her time crying and sleeping. Nevertheless, she continued her destructive lifestyle even behind bars.

Free from drugs and confused sexuality

Later, during Edna’s eighth year in prison, she “became extremely ill,” prompting her to attend a church service where she encountered the Gospel for the first time. This experience ignited a desire to connect with God as she yearned for change in her life. Despite feelings of unworthiness, she deeply wanted Him in her life.

Subsequently, Edna had to undergo surgery for kidney stones and was hospitalized. It was during this time that God spoke to her, leading to a profound change in her life.

Broken Identity

Jenne Noriega was abandoned as a child in New Mexico. Her parents left her as a baby, and as a result, she struggled with her identity. She also didn’t know her value growing up. Furthermore, at five years old, she experienced sexual molestation, which broke her personhood even more. It also brought confusion and fear to her life.

The painful experiences that piled up in Jenne’s life led her to do drugs and drink alcohol as early as 11 years old. It became her medication to fill the void and emptiness in her heart. It was her escape to a harrowing reality. She found comfort and confidence in it, and it wasn’t long before she became addicted to it for many years.

19-Year Drug Addiction

Later, Jenne’s dad returned when she was 12 years old. But he only added more wounds to her soul because he was abusive. He kept threatening the young Jenne, “If you tell, I’m going to kill you.”

Until a time came when authorities arrested her father for child abuse. Soon after, drugs and alcohol took a toll on Jenne’s life, which led her to commit crimes. Then, she was in and out of jail. And by the time she turned 19 years old, “she had been arrested 24 times.”

Receiving God’s Forgiveness

Life in prison became a blessing to Jenne. For her, it was a pause she longed for amidst her chaotic life. And in jail, that’s where she also learned about the love of God. She joined Bible studies and became active in the prison ministry.

After being released, Jenne relapsed into her addiction. She tried to change, but she couldn’t. Until one day, Jenne met two Christian women who led her close to the heart of God and eventually set her free. She encountered God’s forgiveness, and she was never the same again.

As a little girl, Shamso knew deep inside her heart that God existed. She was curious and wanted to know about her Creator growing up. However, as a woman, her religion didn’t allow her to know Him.

“How could God create me and hate me at the same time?” she wondered back then.

Shamso also feared going to hell as a little child. She had many questions, but her religion couldn’t give her answers. As a result, she grew up fearing darkness, and often, she couldn’t sleep well at night.

In Islam, demons are called “jinn” or “genies.” And Shamso constantly feared them because she felt like they were always following her around. At times, she would have tormenting experiences with them.

Reading The Bible For The First Time

Later, in college, Shamso took classes at night and slept during the day because of her fear of darkness. She then met her now husband, with whom she had deep conversations about God with. Shamso planned to convert her boyfriend to Islam, but he was so firm about his Christian faith.

Soon, Shamso got married with him. A time came when she had a very heavy burden; she couldn’t take it anymore. She broke down. She was at her lowest point, crying and sobbing when she remembered what her husband told her. Apparently, he advised Shamso to read the Bible.

At first, Shamso resisted to protect her religion. But she eventually gave in and read the Bible for the first time. She read the book of Genesis, and it deeply broke her.

“When I read that, I was so touched by those words,” she recalled in tears. “I just couldn’t believe those were the words that I was reading. And as I’m reading the stories in the Bible, I see Jesus giving His disciple the power and the authority to cast out demons, in the Name of Jesus.”

Shamso accepted Jesus that night. And she found peace and joy since that day.

Christian Instagram influencer Alexus Martin shares her insight about that mystery. Jesus writing with his finger in the sand happened when the Pharisees questioned him about a woman who was caught in adultery. Without saying anything to answer them, Jesus just bent down on the ground and wrote something with his fingers.

“Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. -John 8:6-6

“When the Pharisees brought in the woman, they said in the law, Moses commanded to stone such a woman now what do you say? But by writing the sand, Jesus was echoing what God did with the 10 Commandments.”

10 Commandments

Jesus did so to recreate what God did when He wrote the 10 Commandments. God wrote the commandments with His finger and Jesus echoed that during that time with the woman.

When the Lord finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant law. The tablets of stone are inscribed by the finger of God. -Exodus 31:18

“The Bible says in Exodus 31:18, that the 10 Commandments were written by the finger of God. While the Pharisees were trying to undervalue Jesus’ interpretation of the law, by Him bending down, writing in the sand, it portrayed to them that He was there when it was written.”

After writing on the sand, He protected the woman by saying to everyone stoning her that they too are sinners. But despite being sinners, Jesus forgave us and accepted us in His arms again. The love of Jesus conquers all, including our sins and unrighteousness.

The Dream To Become A Mom

It had always been Simisola’s dream to be a mom since she was a little girl. She was excited about her dream coming true when she married her husband, Sam. And indeed, she got pregnant.

Simisola became intentional during her pregnancy. As a first-time mom, she studied about the development of her baby and the things she had to do as a mom. But a couple of weeks later, she felt cramps. And when she went to the doctor for a check-up, he told her “she was having a miscarriage.”

Trusting God Amid Miscarriages

Right then, all the excitement that Simisola felt disappeared. She couldn’t grasp losing her baby. Not only that, she got pregnant again seven months later and lost the baby in another miscarriage.

Simisola’s painful experience with her two miscarriages left her rather hopeless. She tried to find the answers to why she couldn’t have a baby. And she began to doubt and told God, “what if I’ll never be a mom, who will I be?”

But then God replied, “worship Me and not your problem. Worship Me and not the pain.”

So, Simisola worshiped God and chose to fix her eyes on the Lord and her peace, hope, and joy returned. She chose to trust God amid the painful season.

“I was still hopeful to be a mom, but it didn’t consume me,” she recalled.

God’s Promise

Moreover, Simisola came across a Word from the Bible in Exodus where God promised His blessing to those who worship Him. So, she claimed the Word from the Scripture.

Later, Simisola got pregnant again, and she knew the baby was going to go full term because God had promised. But 35 weeks later, her health turned, and she had to be rushed to the hospital.

Despite the difficulties of the pregnancy, she miraculously gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Then, several years later, Simisola became a mom-of-three.

Woman Labeled Disabled For Life Receives Complete Healing

Kay was told she was disabled for life, but she received complete healing from our living God.

Disabled For Life

Trevor and Kay lived in Swindon, UK. When they got married, they practiced meditation every morning and evening. They experienced peace, but it was not deep. In 1997, Kay suffered minor strokes. “It leave me disabled, and I had a lot of complication,” she shared. Her muscles were not strong enough to hold her joints. Because of her condition, she felt hopeless. Furthermore, the doctors told Kay she would be disabled for life.

Trevor took an early retirement to take care of his wife, Kay. While they were watching TV, they came across GOD TV. They saw Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne declaring the sinners’ prayer. “The anointing was so strong, and the sense of the Lord in this living room right here was so strong,” Trevor recalled. The couple held each other’s hands and said the sinner’s prayer. “After that, I felt such a deep peace inside of me. A peace I was searching for and never could find it anyway,” Kay said. That wonderful moment changed their lives forever.

Complete Healing And GOD TV Support

They continued to watch GOD TV, particularly Pastor Andrew Wommack, and it tremendously helped them in their walk with God. The following year, they saw on Pastor Andrew’s website that he was coming to London. The Lord convicted the couple to go, and Pastor Andrew laid hands on Kay and prayed. After the service, she noticed some improvement.

“Kay was able to get back to the car without the wheelchair,” Trevor said. But the real recovery came the next day, “I felt strength in my whole body. My ankles felt strong, and then I got up, and I started to walk. I walk up and down the stairs, and I felt you know all the strength in my body,” Kay shared. She miraculously experienced complete healing.

Moreover, the couple also testified about what they experienced while watching GOD TV, “It’s changing people’s lives right around the world… Through the power of GOD TV and broadcasting, we were able to get born again.”

Molested And Raped

Kelly Lester grew up in a Christian home, and her father was a pastor. However, as a pastor’s daughter, she struggled to live up to her dad’s expectations. Hence, Kelly lived her life fearing she would become a disappointment to her parents. But what she feared the most unexpectedly came after facing problems out of her control.

The innocence of the 3-year-old Kelly was stolen when she was molested. As a teen, she snuck out of their house to attend a party. That’s when she met an older boy who eventually raped her.

Walking Away From God

Later on, Kelly told her friends and her youth pastor asking for their help. However, her friends did not believe her and she only felt condemned by their youth pastor. So, she felt angry and discouraged and turned her back on God.

Soon, Kelly got pregnant at 15-years-old and went through an abortion. Anger, guilt, and shame then flooded her soul, which resulted in following a downward path kind of life.

More Abortions

Kelly’s perfect role model life eventually shattered. She then began partying and didn’t go to college. She also soon started doing drugs and got addicted to alcohol. And every time she got pregnant, she would have an abortion. On top of that, Kelly lived with violent men who physically abused her.

Until a time came, at 27-years-old, Kelly was beaten again by her boyfriend. But in the middle of their violent fight, her boyfriend suddenly stopped hitting her. Two days later, she called her dad to get her. That’s when she discovered how God saved her from her violent boyfriend.

Soon after, Jesus spoke to Kelly, which would forever turn her life around.

A woman who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis got healed after she heard an authoritative voice saying, “My child get up and walk.”

John Ankerberg invited Lee Strobel, a former atheist turned Christian, to his show. They discuss evidence that proves that God heals. Before they formally cited one of the miraculous stories that Lee discovered, he first shared his testimony. He became a Christian because of the evidence of a historical miracle, the resurrection of Christ. Lee wondered if God is still in the miracle business today. It led him to research and eventually publish his book, “The Case for Miracles.” While studying, Lee met Barbara Snyder. The woman who experienced an extraordinary miracle from God.

Multiple Sclerosis

Barbara Snyder was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis as a teenager. She had multiple surgeries, and her body deteriorated quickly. In her interview with Lee Strobel, she shared that she was confined to bed and unable to breathe independently. In fact, she had a tracheostomy tube. “I lay there, trapped inside my own body, is really how it felt,” Barbara recalled. But everything changed when she experienced a miracle!

On June 7, 1981, two of Barbara’s friends visited her. While lying on her bed, she experienced an unforgettable moment in her life. “I still remember exactly what they [Barbara’s friends] were reading, when all of a sudden I heard a booming, authoritative, loud voice over my shoulder, over here, say, ‘My child, get up and walk,”” she testified. Instantly, she knew that it was God. Her friends noticed that something had happened.  “Run, get my family. I want them to be here,” Barbara asked her friends.

Miracle Healing

Her friends jumped up, and while they jumped, Barbara also did the same thing. “I was so excited, I couldn’t wait for anyone, and I literally jumped out of the bed,” she said. Another impossible thing that happened is that Barbara pulled out her oxygen and jumped towards the voice, then suddenly, she saw her curled feet appear flat on the ground, just like everyone else’s. “I had foot drop so badly I couldn’t even wear slippers on my feet they were so curled. So when I jumped up to have feet flat, I was amazed,” she shared. Aside from that, her hands also opened. She and her friends started jumping, screaming, and thanking the Lord.

Barbara was so sick, but she was well again because of the healing power of God!

Jesus Encountered A Woman And Saved Her From A Life Of Tragedy And Sin

After a long journey of struggling with sin, Jesus encountered a woman and transformed her life.

Living in Sin

It was Friday night when Jannel Palacio experienced one of the most heartbreaking moments in her life. She and her family had gone out to a club and as they were leaving and their car pulled out, all she remembers is gunshots. Her brother lost his life that night in the tragedy. Jannel explained, “I feel like the most form of evil that somebody can experience or see. If this is what bad look like, then I want to see good, and God is good.”

Eventually her cousin invited her to go to a church. She went, but felt uncomfortable because, at the time, she was living with someone she wasn’t married to. She felt convicted to stop sinning. In fact, the message that night kept tugging at her. “God wants us to come exactly how we are, and it’s not our job to fix ourselves before coming to him,” Jannel recalled. That night, she gave her life to Jesus.

Jannel was having a hard time walking with Jesus. She was still living with someone and they weren’t married. She also started drinking and doing drugs. She ended up pregnant, and feeling hopeless opted for abortion. She had hit rock bottom. But God was pursuing her.

Meeting Jesus

One year after she lost her brother, Jannel felt the urgency to seek God. So she went to a church. “I remember telling God like, today’s the day that I’m gonna meet you,” Jannel said. She began to hunger to know Jesus. In a service, she responded to an altar call and someone prayed to her. At the same time, God spoke to her.

“He said I forgive you for everything. And at that moment, I just felt like this joy rushed into my heart. I felt like this overwhelming flood just filled every part of me, and I’ve never felt so much joy,” Jannel tearfully shared.

After that, she decided to leave everything she knew because Jesus was better than anything she had experienced. She also learned to let go and surrender to the plans of God. She no longer felt emptiness inside.

God has been so faithful to Jannel, and He will also do the same in your life!
