According to the report, baby Sage’s syndrome is “a rare condition where a band in the amniotic sac of the fetus constricts or even amputates an area of the body.”
In her video, Nicole urged validating parents’ emotions in caring for their baby with such a condition.
“Hey, it’s going to be OK. Your child’s going to be happy and you just need to be there to support them and love them,'” she said. “You’re allowed to be angry, you’re allowed to be sad, doesn’t make you less of a mother or a father.”
Spreading Awareness And Encouragement
Ever since discovering her baby girl’s syndrome, Nicole has been studying her condition. Later on, it became her mission to spread awareness about it to others. Thankfully, the online community also gave their support and help to the mom.

Nicole admitted that the journey wasn’t easy as a mom during the first year. She had to face a lot of ups and downs and learn many things for her daughter.
Furthermore, she revealed that she had observed her daughter sometimes showing frustration “by the differences in her limbs.” Then Nicole stressed that one day, she would explain it to her girl “with grace and openness.”
And her message to all parents like her is, “never limit them.” The mom also models her love for Sage and constantly affirms the daughter of her unconditional love.
Nicole truly understands that the children are a gift from God! God bless her.
Psalm 127:3, “Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.”
