We have to learn to be wise leaders in uncertain times.
Wise Leaders
In an episode of The Cry with Host Betty King, Rachel Hickson encourages everyone to be wise leaders in these uncertain times. One of the things that the Lord taught us during the pandemic is that we have to know where our focus is. There’s a lot around us that can distract us, there’s a lot we can do but should learn to focus on the things that God really called us to do.
“There are certain things we need to turn our face towards,” Rachel said. “It’s so easy to get distracted because there are loads of needs. There are loads of great ideas; there are loads of opportunities. There’s loads of the pandemic negativity that says, ‘Oh everything’s wrong,’ but I think there are lots beginning to open up.”
Uncertain Times
We all need to be wise leaders. Leaders seek the ways of the Holy Spirit in every decision he/she makes.
“I just felt the Holy Spirit really says this time [that] we really need to learn how to be wise leaders in uncertain times. There is uncertainty but we need to actually stop and really find Holy Spirit’s definition for this time. Do not turn your back on your own flesh and blood.”
In everything we do, we must seek the Holy Spirit because, in His ways, there is wisdom.
“What are the new definitions? Do we think we know this is the church, this is what fasting looks like, is this what society is? Or is there the Holy Spirit actually challenging a whole lot of concepts, value systems, methodology?”
