This is one of the most asked questions for those people who do not believe in God’s existence. When they feel like there is so much trouble and pain in this world, they often drop this question to those who firmly believe in God. God gave us freewill. We are not mindless robots that do whatever we are commanded to. God gave us freewill because of His great love for us. He wants us to personally choose Him and He doesn’t want to force us to do good. He has already provided every resource that we need and because of His great love He gave us the freedom to choose whether to use those resources for good or bad. Sadly, this freewill has been abused. That’s why there is still depravity in the world.
God exists, and He makes good things happen
Research tells us that there is enough food in the planet to see every person eat in abundance and enough money to see every person experience great wealth. However, humanity has failed to properly steward these resources. The painful part is that we blame God for the bad stewardship of mankind. Humanity creates the tragedy, but God receives all the blame.
Aside from blaming God, humanity also forgets the existence of evil. Satan causes the suffering and pain. God does not send the bad things into your life. In fact, He helps you get through it. He gives you the strength and the courage you need. All he wants is to bring good things into your life. He wants to bless you abundantly so that you will be a blessing to others. God exists, and He makes good things happen.
