Artist and producer Pharrell Williams described his experience with the tangible presence of God in an interview with Kirk Franklin.

Recently, on the first episode of “Good Words with Kirk Franklin,” the 13-time Grammy Award-winning artist Pharrell Williams described his relationship with God. During the podcast, he shared how Gospel music and the Church have helped him discover his purpose in life.
The Virginia native then continued to describe his personal experience with the Holy Spirit.
“Forget the wave in the basketball arena, forget the wave at the football stadium. You’ve never seen the wave of the Spirit causing people in waves; you see their heads turning and going up and down or whatever. Meanwhile, they’re still simultaneously people jumping up and down,” Pharrell shared.
Presence of God
The 47-year-old producer recalled how he felt the tangible presence of God while listening to a podcast.
“The energy is so thick, arguably a scientist could go in there with the right bag and capture it, take it home, release it in their room and feel the same thing. That is one of the most amazing power sources,” he declared.
Voices of Fire
He then explained that the presence of God fuels him to do what he’s doing. They continued to talk about Pharrell’s approach in life and as well as his new Netflix series titled “Voices of Fire.”
“Voices of Fire” is an unscripted project that follows worship leaders, Bishop Ezekiel Williams, as they discover talent on Hampton Road. Bishop Ezekiel is Pharrell’s uncle and the founder of Faith World Ministries.
“With the belief that diverse backstories can give their collective voice a greater meaning, the bishop and his team search for people of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds,” written a description of the series.
