Heather Schott testified about how God gave her another chance after having a drug overdose and how the Holy Spirit supernaturally delivered her from addiction.

The founder of “The Justice Reform,” Heather Schott, shared about the miracle she experienced from God. During her teenage years, she started rebelling against her parents. She wanted to experience freedom in the wrong way. Unfortunately, her mother and stepdad got divorced, so at the age of 14, she decided to live with her biological father, who happened to be a drug dealer. Sadly, she was influenced by her father, and the world of drugs and alcohol was opened to her.
“I started smoking marijuana, and then from there, it was hard drugs. It was cocaine, ecstasy, and oxycontin. And really it was this like deep anger um within me that was just like I’m going to push the limit and boundary,” she recalled. In those dark moments, she didn’t know who God was. She wasn’t aware of His healing and saving power.
Drug Overdose
One night, she was with her friends. They had been partying, mixing drugs and alcohol. After going to the second party, they went to an apartment building. There were so many drugs on her body she could hardly get up. She remembered seeing a two-year-old girl in the living room. She went to grab the little girl, and then she realized that it was just air. After that, she blacked out.
Her friends tried to take her home, but the guy who gave them drugs noticed that she began to foam. “I’m having an overdose, and he’s like, this girl is going to die because of the drugs,” she highlighted. The guy left her in an abandoned apartment just like trash. She stayed there for three days.

God Delivered Her
“I believe with all my heart I was dead for those three days. It wasn’t until the school district called my mom, who worked for the school district said, ‘Your daughter hasn’t been at school for a couple of days,’” she recounted. Then, her friends went to the apartment, and they brought her home after knowing that she was still alive.
The next day, they went to the doctor’s office, and she was told that she had an overdose. “They looked at me and said, ‘You have more drugs in your system than what should kill, you know, three grown men. You’re a walking miracle,’” she testified. That’s when she wept and realized God gave her another chance to live.
She encountered the Holy Spirit in the most supernatural ways. When she started going to church, she met her husband, and the Lord radically transformed her life.
