Three weeks following the tragedy at Covenant Christian School in Nashville, Tennessee, a vivid rainbow appeared outside. Children played beneath it’s expanse over the grassy lawn. In images of the rainbow shared on social medai, believers are seen gathered outside of the chapel to take it in.

Believers encouraged by God as a rainbow appears outside Covenant Christian School
“For those who missed my last post – yesterday afternoon, right as we were beginning our first chapel back as the Covenant School Community and also back at Covenant Church, this rainbow came out of NOWHERE.” Barnes began his Facebook post.
“It was SO bright and SO intense and seemed to last forever. It was like God was yelling from heaven – “I see you! I have not forgotten you!” It was one of the most poignant things I’ve ever experienced in my life.”
“God never promises for everything to make sense. He’s God and we’re not. But He promises that He loves us and will always take care of us. And what did God decide to use show this promise (also known as his COVENANT!!) to his people?
Rainbows.”
In a viral TikTok, @davidpaulwrites shared Barne’s images requesting that viewers “like to let them know you are praying for them”. The video has over 154,000 views and 19,000 likes.
Continue to pray for the families and community surrounding Covenant Christian school as they mourn their losses. Pray that God’s spirit would be near to the brokenhearted!
