Pastor Vladimir Savchuk, popularly known as “Vlad,” is a Christian personality who is using social media to influence this generation. In a recent post on his Facebook page, Pastor Vlad has preached a powerful message for all sinners. In the video, he told his viewers to run to God whenever they have fallen into sin.
“If you commit secret sin, do not stop going to your secret place,” he said. “Your only solution to recover from the sin that you’ve fallen, maybe the burden that has crushed you may be the challenge that is currently weighing you down is to run to God.”
Message to sinners
As Christians, we sometimes think that doing ministry works could decrease our sin and restore our relationship with God. However, as we get to know more about who God is, we know that is definitely not true. The Christian author warned his listeners that doing “good works,” can’t restore your relationship with God.
“Not hiding from God and hoping you can cleanse yourself,” he added. “Get yourself ready, do some good works to outbalance the bad, and then you’ll be able to come to God and say ‘Lord, I already paid penance, I already paid for my sin, I am ready to resume our relationship.”
“Run to God”
He then ended his short message by emphasizing the importance of the blood of Christ.
“My friend, you can never clean a dirty car with a dirty rag. There is only one way to have a relationship with God. It is not to give to charity or even a mission trip, it is through the blood of Jesus Christ. When you have fallen… and you feel disgusted, and you feel guilty, run to God.”
