Christianity On The Rise In India As Hundreds Of Hindus Get Baptized In The Name Of Jesus

A tribe in India is abandoning witchcraft, occult practices, and sinfulness to accept Jesus. Hundreds of Hindus are turning to Christ as revival sweeps through their small town.

Revival in India

In Rajasthan, Pastor Dinesh Shur is witnessing a mighty move of God among his people. He admitted that he was initially hesitant to return to his community after a decade of service in the big city. However, God touched his heart and instructed him to share the Gospel with his hometown.

Pastor Dinesh told CBN News, “I was like Jonah in the Bible. I didn’t want to live in my village. I wanted to serve God in the city where things are easier.”

He continued, “I wanted to reach others with the gospel, not my own people.”

But if Pastor Dinesh had not obeyed God, he would not have witnessed the immediate transformation that the Bhil tribe, to which he belongs, is experiencing.

He said, “The transformation is almost immediate. Families stop praying to their ancestors, they stop drinking, they stop their witchcraft practices. Their entire life is turned upside down when they accept Jesus.”

Hundreds of Hindus

One of the testimonies that led many to Jesus is the story of Jeevani Karadi. The 65-year-old church leader was once a mentally unstable woman wandering the streets. However, after receiving prayer from Pastor Dinesh, she was healed and transformed. Encountering Jesus, she now leads a thriving church in their community. Jeevani’s miraculous healing astonished many in the village, leading most of them to believe in Jesus.

Presently, they have established 42 house prayer groups in 22 villages, with 32 church workers traveling from village to village to spread the Gospel of Christ. Over the past decade, the Bhil tribe has been a significant part of the 300,000 believers in Indian communities.

“Today I’m living the fruits of my decision to come back to my village,” Pastor Dinesh said. “Is it easy? No. Do we face challenges? Yes. But we have Christ to lean on. He is all we need to see change among my people.”

‘How Does Revival Happen?’ Jackie Hill Perry Answers

Jackie Hill Perry answers the most-asked question, “How does revival happen?” She believes that revival occurs when the church returns to revering God’s grace and His Word, rather than relying on additional methods or words.

How Does Revival Happen?

Christians have been praying to God for revival in the church in this generation. They are coming up with new ways and organizing more events to host revival in their communities. However, Jackie believes that for revival to occur, it doesn’t require new methods. It requires the pure hearts of the church to honor God’s blessing in His Word and in prayer.

She said, “If we want to see revival happen in this generation, we don’t need new methods. And we don’t need new words. We need to return to the means of grace that God has already promised to bless, which is the fruitful and faithful ministry of the Word.”

Furthermore, Jackie pointed to 2 Timothy 4:2-3 to highlight the importance of God’s word in revival. It says, “Preach the word, be ready in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and instruction. For there will be a time when they will not put up with sound teaching, but in accordance with their own desires, they will accumulate for themselves teachers, because they have an insatiable curiosity.”

The Christian speaker’s message is inspired by author Ray Ortlund’s wisdom on revival. Jackie shared Ray’s words from his book in her Instagram caption.

It said, “Awakening or revival occurs when these ordinary streams of divine blessing (word, sacraments, and prayer) flow out with unusual power, and the benefits of the gospel pour out upon us with wonderful impact that is clearly of God and not at all of ourselves.”

“If we long for our churches to experience more of this awakening power in the gospel, the remedy is not to invent our own delivery systems for God’s grace. The remedy might be found in correcting our neglect or misuse or corruption of God’s age-old means of grace. We do not need to improve on God’s methods. We might need to engage with God’s methods more reverently and humbly than we ever have before.”

Israel And World Revival

Did you know that Israel is a key to world revival? The Bible is full of scriptures to help us understand this.  Let’s begin with Genesis 12:3.

“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Setting The Stage

Here God is prophesying to Abraham and the nation that will come out of him. At the very beginning of God’s covenant with Abraham He says that He will use his descendants to be a blessing to all the nations of the earth. This scripture sets up the stage for what God wants to do through His people for the entire world.

Psalm 122:6 “Pray for peace of Jerusalem! May they be secure who love you.”

Again, there is a return of blessing here for those that pray for and bless Israel. This is key! God’s plan is that there is an exchange of blessing when we bless Israel.

Isaiah 27:6 says, “In days to come Jacob shall take root, Israel shall blossom and put forth shoots and fill the whole world with fruit.” We see here how Israel’s success and fruitfulness will bless the entire world.

Israel’s Return And The Nations Salvation

Ezekiel 36:22-27 says, “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went….For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.”

This scripture speaks of the Jewish people returning to Israel without knowing Him. Then the Holy Spirit comes on them and God removes their hearts of stone. He gives them a heart of flesh. This is happening in our day!!

The nations will know the Lord when God shows Himself through Israel.  There’s this clear connection between Israel’s return to their own land and the nations coming to know the Lord.  Salvation! Revival! In the late 1800’s, thousands of Jews made their way back to Israel from foreign lands to pioneer and farm the desert land.  This was a fulfillment of prophecy! Soon after, the Welsh Revival broke out and then the Azuza Street Revival. Over a million young people came into salvation at that time.  This is the “greater riches” Paul speaks of in Romans 11. Both of these were known for the salvations, signs and wonders that followed.

Israel And Greater Riches

 “But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!”and in verse 15, “For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?”

Paul shares in Romans 11 what Israel’s sin and rejections means for the world. But that’s not the end of the story! He then goes on to share what their inclusion and acceptance will mean for the world. In recent years many Jewish people are returning to the land promised to them. Now, many Jews are accepting Jesus as their savior and Messiah.  More than ever before. Prophecy is being fulfilled in our lifetime.

Paul modeled what He preached in Romans 1:16.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek”.

In every city that Paul went, he always first found the Jewish community to share the gospel to.  I propose to you that this is a God’s strategy for blessing the earth.  To reach the Jew first and then release blessing for the nations.  So let us receive from the Apostle Paul’s encouragement to keep sharing the gospel to the Jew first.  Let us not forget the connection between Israel and world revival. As we pray for the salvation of Israel, we declare that world revival is coming!!

There Is No Junior Holy Spirit

So many times, as Christians, we judge our spiritual maturity by the amount of time we’ve been saved. From this perspective, a believer must be saved for years to be considered “spiritually mature”, but that’s not biblical. Spiritual maturity is determined by hunger and obedience, not time. Additionally, there is no junior Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that infills a 40 year old adult is the same Holy Spirit that infills an 8 year old child. Both have the ability to operate in the gifts of the Spirit and in partnership with the Holy Spirit because there is no junior Holy Spirit.

Today’s Verse

Matthew 19:13-14 – “Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 15 When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.”

  • What is your response (or reaction) to the statement, there is no junior Holy Spirit?
  • How would you asses your own personal spiritual maturity?
  • Is there anything that the Holy Spirit asked you to do that you still need to obey?
  • What prevents you from immediate obedience?
  • How can you overcome those hurdles?

Revival Breaks Out In Mountains Of Mexico, The Same Place Revival Broke Out In Early 2000s

A revival happened in the mountains of Mexico, the very place where a massive revival took place in the early 2000s.

Revivalist Ross Johnston recently traveled Mexico to share the Gospel. During the trip, Rob Stevenson took him to a place in the mountains where hundreds where gathered to hear the good news. Apparently, it was the same spot where a revival broke out in the early 2000s.

“This land in the mountains of Mexico experienced revival for multiple years in the early 2,000’s. I heard the story of this specific piece of land and it hit me that I was at a revival well in another nation,” Ross wrote in an Instagram post.

The past revival was initiated by a Catholic priest and an American missionary and street evangelist, Rob’s father.

“A very well respected and known catholic priest had a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit which ended up with him doing healing services as a practicing Catholic and he was eventually excommunicated out. He then met a pastor (the dad of the guy interpreting in this video) while doing street evangelism and they ended up doing 400 nights of revival in a row on this land. I’m wrecked.”

Revival in Mexico

That revival brought thousands of people to Christ and birthed the Tierra Prometida Church. The church has now birthed over 60 churches, mostly inside Mexico.

“Such an honor to share this prophetic word the Lord gave me for the nation of Mexico to those who dug a revival well and are believing for another one. Jesus loves Mexico and the people will always have my heart, til next time!”

May the fire of revival continue to burn in the Mexico as many more people come to know Jesus Christ!

The Holy Spirit broke out in a high school classroom, and students were seen worshiping Jesus!

Holy Spirit Broke Out

Daniel Morales is a Christian TikTok influencer with over 4.8 million likes. He is also a recording artist and a volunteer at Love Movement. It is a ministry that brings “love revival of God’s and truth” to places outside the church. They aim to bring young people to Jesus by showing them what His unconditional love is.

In a recent post on Daniel’s Instagram, their team was sharing God’s love and preaching the Gospel to High School students.

“Went to a high school with the team to preach the gospel, and many of the students weren’t too open, some were just flat-out in denial,” he testified.

A few moments after sharing the Gospel with them, the Holy Spirit broke out in that classroom! The students responded to the Gospel and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

“15 minutes in the Holy Spirit swept into the room and after @majumrz preached the gospel I asked ‘Who wants to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior’ & this happened.”

No matter where we are, we are called by God to share His love with everyone. May it be at the office, in the streets, or even our classrooms, God can move mightily!

“God is alive and moving!!! Don’t ever let the pride of young people hold you back from giving them the truth in LOVE!! They are SEARCHING FOR HIM,” Daniel shared.

Lydia Marrow Appeals Church To Behold Jesus Rather Than To Go To Be Entertained

Worship leader, author, and speaker Lydia Marrow has an appeal for the church to stop giving “hype” and “dramatic services” and to learn to sit and behold Jesus.

Lydia shared her observations of many in the Western church. She said, “Have you noticed how much of the church services in the Western Church are designed to keep it moving? It’s a desperate appeal to hold our attention.”

“Make it shinier. More dramatic. Smoke and mirrors. The fast pace gives us a false sense that something is happening, but hype will let you down every single time,” she continued.

Whereas learning to wait on Jesus, beholding His beauty, and sitting beside Him. “In that realm, there is glory. This is where I am transformed,” Lydia explained.

She also compared these type of church services with “eating a bag of Doritos instead of waiting for a good steak.”

Lydia said, “You get a false sense of being full, but you’re not nourished. Those are empty calories.”

Moreover, according to her video, the true move of God in a church is measured by whether they behold Jesus or “are being preached to about yourself”?

“Because when you look at the real Holy Spirit,” she explained. “The real Holy Spirit is not capable of magnifying you, of stroking your flesh. But the real third person of the Godhead will only magnify Jesus. The message of the Holy Spirit was, is, and forever will be: ‘Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”

With that, she prayed,”Oh, God, give us the gift of an undistracted heart! Addict us to spending time with You, both privately and in public. Make Your Church a House of Prayer again, for the glory of Your great name!!”

Hundreds of people gathered in downtown Colorado to hear the Gospel and be baptized!

The Every Heart Movement stopped in Fort Collins, Colorado on their summer tour where hundreds gathered downtown. There, people heard the Gospel, were ministered to, and some gave their lives to Jesus. There was even a girl who got rid of her crystals as she made the decision to follow Jesus.

“I met a girl, who had a crystal around her neck, and by the end of the conversation, she had given her life to Jesus. She ripped the crystal off her neck and threw it in the trash,” a person testified.

Several young girls also gave their lives to Jesus!

“Eight girls on a softball team ended up all giving their lives to Jesus. Some of them got healed, some of them got delivered. Praise God!”

People also got delivered from addictions and vices!

“Got to walk a girl through freedom from an addiction that she was struggling with and she gave her vape to someone and they threw it in the road and she got freed!”

“I talked to this one girl and she wanted to quit drinking, she wanted to quit partying and receive Jesus, make Him the Lord of her life so she did!”

There were also people who received healing and 15 people got baptized right in the fountain!

“I approached a girl, prayed for healing of her knee, went from 8 to a zero! She’s fully healed!”

The pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship, Pastor Greg Laurie, shared three key principles for revival: “Revive the passion in your heart.”

The pastor is passionate about revival, not just nationally but worldwide.

That is what the ‘Jesus Revolution’ film is all about.

Inspired by his book of the same title, ‘Jesus Revolution’ came to life. It was about Greg Laurie’s account of what happened during the late 1960s movement. A film where many events unfolded and testimonies were told.

And less than a month ago, Pastor Greg Laurie held a “Jesus Revolution” water baptism at the historical beach, Pirate’s Cove.

On his Twitter account, he appeared to be at Pirate’s Cove, recalling his remarkable moment with the beach. “Yes, I’m at Pirate’s Cove. This is where I was baptized fifty years ago. This is where my wife, Cathe, was baptized.”

The pastor is in an endless pursuit of revival. In a recent, detailed account, he shared three key principles on how to steward revival.

“First, you need to revive the passion in your own heart. I’m not talking about seeking some cataclysmic, mountaintop emotional experience. Emotions come and go. I’m talking about returning to the basics of the dynamic Christian life as described in the book of Acts and the New Testament letters. You will only revive the burning power and passion of Christ in your life by opening yourself to the power of God’s Spirit, by anchoring your daily life in the disciplines of worship, Bible study, prayer, and faithful service, and by welcoming God’s direction in the everyday routine of your life.

Open Your Life To Others

“Second, you need to open your life to others so God’s love within you can touch their lives as well. This means following God’s guidelines for developing the oneness of biblical koinonia among the believers with whom you worship, study, pray, and work. Opening your life to others also means responding to God’s command to reach out and disciple those around you who don’t know Him.

“Third, you must be prepared to maintain the passion in your life when problems threaten to dampen and discourage your commitment to Christ. Some degree of persecution is a reality in the life of passionate believers. Remember Paul’s words in Acts 14:22: “Through many hardships we must enter the kingdom of God.” Jesus Himself assured us, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). ” – Greg Laurie

Worship Breaks Out At Rotterdam Centraal Station

A revival broke out in Rotterdam Centraal Station with hundreds of people worshiping the name of Jesus!

The Rotterdam Centraal Station has been one of the busiest train stations in the Netherlands. According to the records, there are 29.8 Million people using their 13 tracks annually. It is so powerful to witness people in a busy train station stop what they’re doing to worship Jesus!

In May, the Presence NL posted on their TikTok account a video of hundreds of people gathered to worship in that station. The worship is led by Amsterdam City Church pastor and recording artist John Angoh. He was also accompanied by the choirs of Amsterdam City Church and Harbour City Church.

While he was on the keyboard playing the harmony of “Victory Belongs to Jesus” by Todd Dulaney. The song is about trusting in Jesus that victory belongs with Him in our every circumstance and battle.

Today, the song that claims the victory in Jesus has once again claimed the victory in Jesus as worship broke out in Rotterdam. Many in the train station can be heard passionately worshiping Jesus! The TikTok video now has over 1.1 million views with over 260,000 engagements from people hoping to see more of this happening in the world.

“I pray for an experience like this 🙏🏽 it must feel so good to be in that moment, just you and Jesus,” a TikTok user commented.
