The Wisconsin pastor who was killed in a traffic accident is being remembered by his friends and family for his strong faith and devotion to Jesus Christ.
Wisconsin Pastor
On October 12, Rev. Aaron Strong, the lead pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, was driving to Church when a vehicle hit his car. The driver who hit him had run a red light and hit Aaron’s vehicle as he was crossing the intersection. The driver was going 44 mph over the road’s 30 mph speed limit.
First responders and the hospital staff did their best to revive the 40-year-old pastor but were unable to save him. His churchmates, friends, and family are remembering his life.
“Pastor Strong was a person that was full of joy,” Rev. Brian Hackmann, outreach pastor at Grace, said. “He was full of life. He had a smile on his face, an infectious laugh, he was a person that was pretty easy to get along with.”

Aaron was a pastor in the church for over 7 years.
“He had the love of Jesus in his heart in a big way,” Brian said. “He wore his faith on his sleeve.”
It was thanks to his faith in God that the church that he is leading is now a large and growing church.
“He was the one who came along and got us started,” said Rev. Tom Unke of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Las Vegas. “And if it weren’t for his efforts, starting this mission, we wouldn’t be the large and growing congregation that we are today.”
“He loved his family like nothing else. It was Jesus first and family second,” he said.
