Jonathan Brozozog shared an important reminder for every Christian parent. He encouraged them to speak prophetic words over their children.

The senior pastor at Creative Church and father of eight children, Jonathan Brozozog, discussed protecting and preparing children to face adversity in the world. He joined hosts Syd and Tony Kell of the Chosen Ministries Podcast and shared profound insights into Christian parenting. Syd inquired about the delicate balance between shielding children from the world and not isolating them. Jonathan acknowledged that it’s a challenging task but emphasized that parents must not only protect their children but also equip them to navigate the world.
He encouraged parents to educate their children about the realities they may encounter. He noted that children attending school might come across demonic prophecies at times. Words like, “You’re dumb, you’re ugly, you’re stupid, you’re fat. Nobody likes you.” These painful words would somehow penetrate their hearts. Therefore, he reminded parents not to remain silent.

Release Prophetic Words
Furthermore, he emphasized, “I think parents more than ever have to be vocal…We have to prophecy, mean to profess what you see and to speak that over our children again and again uh and it shapes them.” He also added that while prayer may be wonderful, nothing shapes a person like prophecy.
Moreover, he believed that when parents are silent, it allows the enemy to destroy their children. Then, he shared one practice that parents could follow. Every Father’s Day, he would give his children a prophetic word. To him, it was the most significant gift he could give.
“My job is not to make a whole bunch of money so they can be what they want. My job is to get in the presence of God and get a dream or vision from the Lord so I can see their future. And prepare them in the way they should,” he highlighted.
