A Christian author warned about the signs of heart sickness.

Heart Sickness

Michael Freeland Miller warned that people are turning to others around them rather than turning to Jesus.

“Instead of asking Jesus questions, we ask those around Jesus questions. We start having conversations with those around Jesus instead of actually having conversations with Him… We would rather settle for a Sunday night service here like it’s easier for you to come in here for two hours than it is for you to actually sit alone for five minutes with the Lord.”

Relationship with Jesus

It is true that we need to gather as a Church to strengthen our faith, however, what we need the most is our relationship with Him.

“What you’re doing is supplementing your relationship with Jesus. Supplements are fine, I take them, but I can’t live off them. If I live off supplements, my body will not be nourished. This is diagnostic that you’re heart is starting to close off to the Lord and you’re looking for the things of God but you’re not actually wanting to be in a relationship with Him.”

Michael then shared how he experienced having the symptoms of a heart sickness.

“It’s a sign of a heart sickness and it happens to me. I’m preaching to myself. Like sometimes I would run to certain teachers that I really enjoy listening to that awaken my heart for the Lord instead of actually going to the Lord.”

God wants to reveal Himself to you, not through other people, but directly through Him. He wants to have an intimate relationship with you.

“He really wants to feed you, He really wants to meet with you, He really wants to reveal Himself to you personally and you developing and cultivating a secret history and life with God is so crucial.”

Former supermodel Kathy Ireland opened up about her Christian faith to the public and said her relationship with Jesus is the “most important relationship” in her life.

During the 30th Annual Movieguide Awards, Kathy Ireland boldly shared her Christian faith with Fox News Digital.

“The most important relationship in my life is with Jesus,” the author said.

She then revealed that she accepted Christ at 18 years old. And although to her, it might be a bit too late, she’s “grateful that God is so patient and so gracious.” Since then, she has continued to seek Christ and embraced Christianity.

“I love that Scripture tells us ‘The one who is forgiven much, loves much,’ so I love a whole bunch,” Kathy remarked.

The 59-year-old also stressed that she couldn’t live without Jesus. Perhaps she would be lost in life if she didn’t meet Jesus.

“Without Him, I don’t know,” she said. “I certainly wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be anywhere. His love is unconditional, and it’s there for anyone to receive it. He’s there with open arms for everybody.”

Philathropic Work

Furthermore, the former supermodel discussed her philanthropic works with the news outlet. Apparently, Kathy recently produced “Anxious Nation,” a documentary film. The film addresses the “epidemic of anxiety in the United States. Especially its impact on children and families.”

Though she’s busy with her philanthropic work, the author highlighted that spending time with her family is still her priority.

“It is an honor to be here at the Movie Guides Awards,” she told Fox News Digital. “Especially in these times. We need to be encouraged and inspired, and these are films that do just that.”

She added that she loves watching films they would enjoy together with her whole family.

“To have meaningful content that truly is empowering,” she stressed.

Forbes reported Kathy as “one of the most successful women” in the country. The entrepreneur has an “astounding $2 billion worth of licensed products at retail for her brand.”

Suicidal Woman Healed From Eating Disorder Because Of Her Relationship With Jesus

A suicidal woman was totally healed from a serious eating disorder because of her relationship with Jesus.

Molested As A Child

Marcela Eslao’s painful childhood memory began when she was molested at seven years old. Her dad’s best friend, babysitting her at the time, apparently lured her into a room and molested her. Since then, a trail of brokenness has followed her life.

Years later, the damage it caused to Marcela turned her into a suicidal woman. She also struggled with anorexia and bulimia. It became her resort to recover what she thought she had lost in childhood.

“I think that I was honestly just trying to get some sense of control over my life,” she said. “And also trying to cry out for attention at the same time.”

Harming Herself

Soon, Marcela became “extremely promiscuous” and “rebellious.” At one point, when she broke up with her boyfriend, she started cutting herself to feel good.

“And ever since that moment, I was like, ‘This is amazing,’ because I felt something,” Marcela recounted. “I felt I was able to connect with how I felt for the first time.”

So, every time, it became her way of managing her anger. Then at 23 years old, Marcela entered the world of cheerleading and bodybuilding. And because her family owned a gym, she became the community’s fitness icon.

Worsened Eating Disorder

Meanwhile, she also struggled with an eating disorder where she often intentionally threw up her food after eating. Over time, it worsened until she reached her breaking point, which she eventually desired healing. So, the athlete decided to quit to heal.

Then one day, Marcela scrolled over a Christian preaching on YouTube. She watched and learned that “the Word of God is alive.” So, she started reading the Bible. Later, she also started going to church, and there, she experienced the love of God.

“I went to the altar, and I just started crying,” Marcela recalled.

Soon, Jesus healed her eating disorder and thoughts of self-harm.

“Jesus is my everything. … He’s my rest. He’s my peace. He’s my joy. He’s my freedom. … He is everything,” she declared.

Hey, I want to encourage you today. Did you know that you were born for such a time as this? Never before in history have we been as ripe for revival as we are now, and God is looking to and fro for those who will say, “Here I am, Lord send me.” I always say, “God, I might not be your best option, but hey, I’m here. Use me.” And guess what? He does. He says His children don’t have, because they don’t ask.

Look at Esther. I mean, hello! That girl was a young Jewish girl. She was just following her uncle’s instructions. But God used her mightily. It wasn’t about her own works. Even when she had the opportunity to put on all the royal jewels, she asked the eunuch, “Hey, what should I wear?” And he said, “Just this one simple item,” because it was the anointing of God that got her into place. It wasn’t her own works. And that’s the difference between relationship and religion. We work to get into the Kingdom of God, or we realize that He did the work to get us where He needs to get us. So I want to encourage you with that. Whether you’re a man or a female, I want to tell you,  you were born for such a time as this.

All of heaven, all creation, heaven’s cheering you on and creation is crying out for you to realize who you are and Whose you are. So I’m going to bless you right now. If you are saying, “Man, whoo, I’m feeling charged in my spirit and I need this word.” Then I’m just going to pray the fire of God over you, the revelation of God over you, that you are important, you are valuable. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been, what you’ve been up to. When the Spirit of God is inside of you, He’s knocking, and He’s saying, “Somebody, let me out!” And He’s talking to you.

So I bless you right now with the fire of God, with the power of God, with the revelation of the Kingdom of heaven that is inside of you, bursting to come out. Jesus is looking for someone who will say yes to the great commission or preach the gospel, heal the sick cast out demons, cleanse the lepers, and do all these things in His name to His glory. And we’ve got a revival on our hands. So remnant of God, I charge you to rise up. I pray over you that anointing that breaks the yoke. Holy Spirit, just touch them right now and encourage them to stand up, to rise up, and just like Esther, change an entire nation and the history for all time. I bless you with that. Amen and amen.

Till his last breath in battling lung cancer, the conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh points people to his personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Battling Advanced Lung Cancer

In February last year, Rush revealed that he was diagnosed with “advanced lung cancer,” highlighting that he’s totally relying on God with his condition. We remember how the 69-year-old shed light on the importance of his deep faith in God in such a difficult time.

“I’ve had so much support from family and friends during this that it’s just been tremendous. But I do, and I have been working that relationship tremendously,” he said while laughing back then. “Which I do regularly anyway, but I’ve been focused on it intensely for the past couple of weeks. I know there are many of you in this audience who have experienced this. Who are going through it yourselves at the same time.”

Confidence In Jesus

Then in October 2020, Rush once again opened up about his battle with cancer. At that time, he said he finds his strength and confidence in his relationship with Jesus. And despite his situation, he’s still grateful to God for everything.

“I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,” he said. “It is of immense value, strength, confidence. That’s why I’m able to remain fully committed to the idea that what is supposed to happen will happen when it’s meant to.”

Rush Limbaugh Dies At 70

Today, the news broke that the conservative talk radio pioneer who had influenced a generation of American politics finally went home to be with the Lord. He succumbed to the advanced lung cancer he was battling at the age of 70.

Till his last breath, Rush showed his great faith, pointing to his personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Rush Limbaugh Clings To ‘Personal Relationship with Jesus’ In Battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Radio show host Rush Limbaugh opened up about his battle with lung cancer and stressed it is his relationship with Jesus that gives him strength and confidence to face each day.

On Monday, the conservative talk radio icon said, “I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.” Then he went on to reveal that he is finding comfort in Him. He said, “It is of immense value, strength, confidence. That’s why I’m able to remain fully committed to the idea that what is supposed to happen will happen when it’s meant to.”

Rush also thanked those who have supported him through prayer, calling it “a series of blessings.”

Battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer

In February of this year, the 69-year-old publicly revealed that he had been diagnosed with “advanced lung cancer.” But before that, he assumed he had only asthma or possibly a heart problem because he had “zero symptoms.”

Today, the radio personality updates that there is “some progression of cancer.”

“The scans did show some progression of cancer,” he explained. “Prior to that, the scans had shown that we had rendered cancer dormant — that’s my phrase for it. We had stopped the growth. It had been reduced, and it had become manageable. But it’s always the reality, and the knowledge that, that can change. And it can come back because it is cancer. It outsmarts pretty much everything you throw at it. And this, of course, this is stage 4 lung cancer.”

Rush’s Sentiments

Moreover, Rush also shared his thoughts on his health. Feeling emotional, he said, “It’s tough to realize that the days where I do not think I’m under a death sentence are over.”

“We all know we’re going to die at some point,” he continued. “When you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it.”
