As many celebrate Valentine’s Day, the theme of this Regional Update is the subject of
In Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus tells the Pharisees that the first and greatest commandment is to, “LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, ALL YOUR SOUL, AND ALL YOUR MIND.” He then continues to say that it is equally important to: “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF”.
The beauty of Jesus’ message lies in his definition of who is our neighbor.
At GOD TV we are passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission to “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation” (Mark 16:15). As “God loved the world so much he gave his one and only Son” (John 3:16), we, in turn, want to love God so much that it manifests through our visible, practical, and sacrificial love towards one another.
Spotlight on Australasia

We can see this love for our neighbour in the work of GOD TV in the Australasia region. Since 2006, the team have been taking the Gospel to all especially the most broken and hurting in society across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Papua New Guinea.
Thanks to your partnership, we have been able to work with Queensland Corrective Services to ensure that prison inmates can watch GOD TV. Prisoners across the State receive the Gospel of Salvation, deliverance, and restoration through GOD TV’s anointed content. Your sacrificial giving is changing and impacting some of the most broken lives in our society. Our Australasia team have also partnered with Shalom House in Perth to give free access to GOD TV to over 100 men recovering from life-controlling issues such as drug and alcohol addiction. Peter Lyndon-James, the founder of Shalom House, told us that,
Tune-in on Saturdays for Awakening Australia at 7:30pm EST / GMT
“HAVING GOD TV HAS PLAYED A MAJOR PART IN THE RESTORATION OF THESE MEN’S LIVES AND THEIR FAMILIES.”
One of their current residents also said:
“GOD TV GIVES ME STRENGTH, COURAGE, AND HOPE THAT THERE IS SOMETHING BETTER OUT THERE FOR EVEN US WHO HAVE COME OUT OF BROKENNESS.”
Finally, our Australasia team have been working to increase our distribution in remote aboriginal communities. These areas have some of the highest rates of youth suicide in Australia, and we are determined to reach the lost, hurt, and oppressed with the love of Jesus Christ.
All of this is because of the amazing partnership of people all across the world.
This Valentine’s Day, please consider making a love offering to GOD TV!
Your donation helps carry the message of TRUE LOVE – the love of Jesus – to millions today.
TOGETHER, WE CAN PUT GOD ON EVERY SCREEN IN EVERY NATION.
