Jenny Donnelly reminded every wife to see their husband the way God sees them. She emphasized that there’s a king and a fool in every person, and the one they speak to is the one they will see emerge.

Author and spiritual health coach Jenny Donnelly gave an important reminder to every wife. She joined Rebecca Weiss and recalled an experience wherein God taught her how to approach her husband, Bob. They once bought a retreat center, and her husband was great at building things. He was the one who fixed and prepared the furniture and put things together.
However, about a year and a half later, she noticed that she hadn’t seen her husband apply his leadership gift. That’s when God instructed her to remind Bob that he wasn’t just a builder of things but also a builder of people.
Accountability
After that, Jenny encouraged women to be accountable to their husbands, especially in reminding them of their talents and gifts. At the same time, they were also reminded to pray for them, asking that God would turn the light switch on and the Holy Spirit would fully convict them.
Then, she shared, “We don’t want to put more fear on them … and don’t use weird tactics to get them to like manipulation. Not good. I tried that when I was young and immature, and it doesn’t work.”

Furthermore, Rebecca asked Jenny a practical question, “What would you say to women that maybe they see stuff that they want developed in their husband? But it’s like, ‘It’s not our job to correct them. It’s God’s job.’ How do they handle that?”
A King and A Fool
Jenny answered, “There’s a king and a fool in every person, and the one you speak to is the one you will see emerge.” She emphasized that wives need to see their husbands as kings and not fools. Otherwise, they would feed their husbands’ fears and insecurities.
Moreover, she highlighted what the Lord told her, “He says, ‘Do not address him until you see him the way I see him. And when you can see him from my eyes as a king, go address the king.’” Jenny learned to remind her husband of his anointing instead of feeding his fears.
