A 13-year-old boy from Nebraska called a Christian radio station in tears to share what God told him in his conversation with the Lord.

13-Year-Old Boy Calls Christian Radio Station

Logan Henderson is a 13-year-old boy who lives on a ranch. His residence is an isolated place found in the middle of Nebraska. For that reason, he can only listen to radio stations. Thus, the radio station he often listens to is KSBJ, a Christian radio station.

One day, Logan called the station to shared about a conversation he had with God. Unbeknownst to him, the whole world would soon hear the call.

“I want to tell you something that God just told me,” he told KSBJ’s radio host. “Last night, my dad was roping this calf. She broke her back. And this morning I went out and put her down myself. I was talking to God. I was asking God, ‘why?? She was special.’”

God’s Reply

Apparently, Logan was very upset when his pet died. He cried and found it hard to accept what happened. And so, he began to question God about it. But then, God’s reply to the 13-year-old brought him to tears.

While in tears, Logan shared his conversation with the Lord. He said, “And God said, “You know, Logan, My Son was special. But He died for a purpose. It’s kind of the same thing. That calf was close to me, and God’s Son was close to Him. Just remember, when you lose a loved one or a pet, always remember that God gave His Son, too. And He understands.”

At that point, the 13-year-old’s understanding of what Jesus did on the Cross expanded. The circumstance gave Logan a glimpse of what it cost God to send His Son, Jesus, to save the world.
