Aaron Burke emphasized that Christians don’t have the right to preach to people they haven’t prayed for first.

The lead pastor of Radiant Church, Aaron Burke, discussed ways to share one’s faith. According to him, one thing that Christians could do for those who haven’t encountered God was to pray for them.
“Prayer is the most powerful way to invite God into a relationship, whether it’s a friend or a coworker or a spouse. If you want to see God change their life, pray for them,” he highlighted.
He explained that people could reject someone’s preaching, but they were defenseless against prayers. He believed that prayer had power and could change people’s lives. Then, he encouraged his congregation that if they wanted to see someone get saved, then they needed to pray for them.

Praying for People
Furthermore, he mentioned 1 Timothy 2:1, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people.” He reminded the people to find ways to pray for others. Then, he recalled one instance where he and his father prayed for a saleslady who was having a hard time. Her mother was sick, and she was grieving. They chose to help her by offering prayers.
Moreover, he emphasized that when people would share their needs, Christians could hold their hands and pray for them. He considered it as an opening to share their faith. Then, he reminded those who had family members who don’t know Christ to list the names of their loved ones and start praying for them.
Lastly, he remarked, “Prayer works. Christians don’t have the right to preach to people that they haven’t prayed for first… When God put somebody on my heart, I put them on a list and I start praying for them daily. God opened up an opportunity, opened up a door, put it in my path, and I’m telling you, it works.”
