Hollywood actress Candace Cameron Bure shared a Scripture amid the public criticism against her.

The outspoken Christian has been attacked by others in the entertainment industry for the past few weeks. It quickly broke out on social media and the public joined in to criticize her. Artist Jojo Siwa was one of those who criticized her by calling Candace the “rudest celebrity” she had met.
Last week, another well-known person criticized her with her uploaded video of herself dancing to “Born In The USA.” Indie rocker Matthew Koma slammed her decision to celebrate the fourth of July with the music.
“Yeah, the song you’re playing? It’s about veterans coming home from Vietnam and being treated like s—,” Koma sarcastically said to Bure’s patriotic celebration. “Yeah, it’s not about, it’s not the Fourth of July.”

Public Criticism
After a few days, Candace finally responded to the criticism thrown at her. She responded with compassion and forgiveness. On her Instagram story, she posted a video of herself citing Scripture.
“The Lord is my salvation. I will trust Him and not be afraid for He alone is my strength and my defender,” she declared while reading Isaiah 12:2.
She also emphasized that God has been his salvation. Candace also reached out to Jojo Siwa to ask her why she thought of her that way. Jojo then explained that when she was 11 years old, she met the actress and asked for a picture. She declined and went on to take pictures with others. Jojo has never forgotten that moment. Candace apologized to her.
“JoJo, I’m so sorry,” she recalled. “Please know, especially as a mom, it breaks my heart that I made you feel that way.”
