The Creator of the universe stands as your shield, your defender, and your protector. In every trial, in every storm, remember that His mighty hand is your refuge.

Take heart, for no scheme, no force, no circumstance can prevail against the love and power of your Heavenly Father. As you walk through life’s challenges, stand strong in the assurance that God’s unwavering love surrounds you. You are encircled by His divine presence, and His promises are your fortress.

Embrace the truth that you are not alone. The God who parted the seas, who brought down walls, and who conquered the grave is by your side. Fear may knock at your door, but it has no place in your heart. Your identity is rooted in Christ, and in Him, you are more than a conqueror.

Let these words echo in your spirit: “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Every step you take, every obstacle you face, is an opportunity for God to demonstrate His faithfulness. He has carved your name on the palms of His hands, and His protection knows no bounds.

So, hold your head high. The battles you face are not yours alone to fight. You have a defender who goes before you, a protector who watches over you, and a love that surrounds you. In the shelter of His wings, you find refuge, strength, and unwavering courage.

Tornado-Stricken School Records No Injuries Despite Damages; “That’s A Miracle”

A tornado-stricken school in Oklahoma credits God for His providence and protection. Despite the damage the building sustained, the school praised God for having no records of injuries to any students or faculty.

Oklahoma Baptist University took a hit when a tornado passed through the region. And according to Heath Thomas, president of OBU, the storm was one that had “never been experienced in the history of the university.”

The student’s and faculty’s safety has been credited as a miracle. “But because of your diligence and the way that you responded, and really, God’s protection, we have no injuries. We have no fatalities. And listen, where I’m from, that is hallelujah territory, that’s a miracle,” Heath added.

The damage to the Christian university’s building is considered “significant.”

Governor Kevin Stitt surveyed and witnessed the storm’s destruction to the campus, saying that “almost every building was damaged.”

Today, they canceled the classes to assess the damages. The priority, however, has been on the students’ safety, shelter, food, and water.

“We have an unbelievable team and partners who have joined together and offered their time to serve you,” Health told the students, assuring them of their stay inside the building.

“We’ve got some challenging days ahead. I don’t know how it’s all going to look. But I know who’s going to
make it all clear. And that’s the Lord. And so we’re gonna trust Him.”

His encouraging words comforted the troubled students.

Many who listened to Heath’s announcement appreciated his work and passion. One watcher said, “I greatly appreciate Dr. Thomas’ words and leadership. Continuing to pray for OBU.”

Meanwhile, others commented on his dedication and love for the students. “Dr. Thomas is such an amazing man!! Loving those kids like Jesus! Words will never say how grateful I am for his leadership!!

Let us continue to pray for OBU and their recovery.

Today’s Message

God is our refuge and strength. He is our fortress in times of trouble! When we encounter traps, deceit, and other evils, he keeps us free from harm. Do you live with fear in your mind? Afraid of warfare from the enemy? There is good news, friend: in Christ you are victorious! You no longer need to live a life or inside mindsets that keep you focused on darkness. Instead, knowing you have a firm, secure foundation in Jesus, you can trust his faithful deliverance. ‘Duck Dynasty’ Family After Escaping Gunfire: ‘We Have Been Resting On Psalm 91’

On Monday, the “Duck Dynasty” family was spared from gunfire in Monroe, Louisiana. And they say, “We Have Been Resting on Psalm 91.”

Apparently, a 38-year-old man named Daniel King, Jr. drove by the Robertson family’s estate on Monday and started shooting.

The Shooting Incident

According to Faithwire, one bullet was shot on to Willie Robertson’s property. It went through the bedroom window of his son John Luke and his wife Mary Kate along with their infant. No one in the family was injured since everyone was at home during the incident. 

“We were pretty shook up,” Willie told the newspaper. “It looks like they were just spraying bullets across my property.”

If God Is Watching, Why Doesn’t He Stop Gun Violence?

The ‘Duck Dynasty’ star believes that the gunman fired eight to 10 shots.

Also, he revealed that moments before the shooting incident happened, the family was outside. “But everybody had been out about five minutes before,” he said.

And when the family was all inside they heard the gunshots.

Willie’s daughter, Sadie Robertson, who is also a well-known Christian figure has been staying with them during the COVID-19 pandemic. She witnessed the unlikely event as well and so she took it to Instagram to confirm to her 3.7 million followers.

“Hi, yes the news is true if you’ve seen it. We had someone shoot at our property,” the 22-year-old wrote.

Then she assured that their whole family was safe. She said, “Just wanted to say we are all okay. It shook us all up of course, but we are just so thankful everyone in our family is okay. Especially after one of the bullets flew through the window of my brother’s home.”

Moreover, Sadie went on to testify to God’s protection for their family.

“The timing of where we were at the time was crazy protection because we had all just gone inside. We have been resting on Psalm 91 and each other’s gratitude for all being okay. thank you for your prayers.”

Psalm 91 (in part):

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”

The gunman has been arrested and charged with “one count of aggravated assault by drive-by shooting and one count of criminal neglect of family.” According to USA Today, “he has been booked and his bond is set at $150,000.

7 Vital Truths You Need to Know About Angels

Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve the heirs of salvation (Heb. 1:14). Angels help us, protect us, send messages to us, unfold revelation, guard us and more. Angels are all around us. Additionally, the Lord has released the angels of abundant harvest.

I’ve been studying angels more and more. While God must remain the center of our focus—we need to study His will, character and ways—we’d be foolish to ignore what the Bible says about angels.

The Bible mentions angels and other heavenly creatures over 370 times. Angels appear as men. They appear in dreams. Angels appear in brilliance. They appear in visions. Angels appear in trances. They have walked and talked with men on the earth. Angels move at the speed of light.

Here are seven truths we need to know about angels at a time when the Lord has released the angels of abundant harvest:

1. Angels obey the Lord’s commands, not ours.
I hear many, especially spiritual warriors, commanding angels. I cannot find in Scripture anywhere we are to command angels. Psalm 91:11 (AMP) says, “For He will command His angels in regard to you, To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service].” And Psalm 103:20 says, “Bless the Lord, you His angels, who are mighty, and do His commands, and obey the voice of His word.”
2. Angels have a free will. Like humans, angels are not robots.

We know that one-third of the angels followed Lucifer (Satan) in his insurrection and were cast of heaven with him. Jude 6 (MEV) tells us plainly, “Likewise, the angels who did not keep to their first domain, but forsook their own dwelling, He has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” Angels choose to serve the living God, just as we do.

3. You have angels.

In Matthew 18:10, Jesus said: “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.” Angelic activity in the New Testament era was common. When Peter was released from prison (by an angel) he came knocking on the door where intercessors were praying for his release—but they didn’t believe when he actually showed up. They said, “It is his angel” (Acts 12:15b). The Bible says angels are ministering spirits to those who inherit salvation (Heb. 1:14).

4. Angels never die.

Luke 20:36 says, “For they cannot die any more, for they are equal to the angels and are the sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.”

5. Angels serve as deliverers.

Although God is our fortress, our strength and our deliverer, He can choose to send angels with deliverance assignments. Psalm 34:7 bears this out, “The angel of the Lord camps around those who fear Him, and delivers them.”

6. Angels can speak with a loud voice.

Revelation 7:2 reveals, “And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. He cried out with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the earth and the sea …”

7. Angels have strong discernment.

2 Samuel 14:17 says, “So, your servant thought, ‘May the word of my lord the king provide rest. For like the angel of God, my lord the king discerns good from evil. May the Lord your God be with you.'”

The Harvest

These are only some of the many truths about angels and angelic beings. The Lord releases angels to accomplish many assignments, including bringing in harvest. We’ll continue our study on angels in the weeks ahead.

What If We Protected Our Children?

As a kid, I had no option when it came to going to Church.  It was a given.  When Sunday rolled around, I was going if I wanted to go anyplace else during the week.  Church always had to be the priority.  Of course, I grumbled on occasion, but to no avail. What if all children had to go to Church?

What if children went to Church?

Imagine if parents today had such a rule! Could one of the greatest gifts given to all of our children be a “no option rule” for receiving the everlasting gift of knowing Jesus Christ?   What if our kids today knew more about Jesus than the rules of any sport, or the multiplicity of techniques for maneuvering successfully through every social media platform on the planet? Think about it, what if they had a security about themselves that cancelled any need to bully others?  Imagine if they were grounded in the Word of God who promises them they can “do all things through Christ”. What if many were not freely yielding to sexual connections before being able to handle the possible outcomes? How would they live if they saw no value in vaping, drinking alcohol, or taking drugs?  What if so many of them were not looking for love in all the wrong places, but rather were accepting a healthy dose of God’s unconditional love? Imagine if they believed the promises that He will “build a wall of fire” around them and “be the glory” in their midst? Surely, attention to such a scripture would provide assurance that Our Lord cares greatly for them.

What if, when faced with difficulties, our kids had viable answers? How would the world look if they knew about a Savior who stands consistently ready to give peace beyond understanding, help out in any chaotic situation, and set important parameters? What if our children were secure in saying no to negative peer pressure, and didn’t feel the need to follow crowds down dark and lonely paths of destruction?  Imagine if they were strong enough in their knowledge of Jesus Christ that yielding their precious hopes and dreams to someone else would be unthinkable!

The greatest gift of all

I can honestly say that this fixed rule of learning about Jesus pays off in great dividends. Through such unwavering consistency, we would give our children the greatest gift of all.  They would know the joy of Jesus Christ and all of His promises.  Additionally, it would help them better understand a profound rule of life –  knowing Christ does not make them perfect. It doesn’t mean that there won’t be trials or that everything will always be what they want. Rather, it would mean learning how to value His creations, how to see the hope in Christ, and how to find security when the storms of life rage.  It would show them how to be grateful when blessings beyond measure appear and how to escape temptation. Children would learn how to cope with disappointments and how to seek Christ for His plan for their lives.  They would learn to trust Him when the world offers impossibilities.

Choosing Church

I believe that seeing so few children in many of our Churches today has placed us at a crossroad. I believe it is imperative for us to accept the responsibility of finding a way to engage them. We need to find a way to encourage them to attend Church as faithfully as they attend the “fun things” they commit to daily.  We must take up the mantle of giving them the gift of knowing the Word of God.  The Lord has entrusted them to us. It is our duty to help them see that hope is not found in anything else but Christ.

What if they were conscientious students of the Word?  Imagine if children had faith in His assurance that they can, forever, rest in Him, hope in Him, find protection in Him, and have a life in Him that provides His consistent love and mercy in any given situation!

What Happens When You Share a Testimony

Have you ever been in a hopeless situation? Have you wished that someone would help you pull through your dark and difficult time? Sometimes just hearing an inspiring testimony shared by someone is all it takes to give us that push, and a motivation to hope again. I experienced this myself. I remember when watching a testimony shared by someone on a CBN programme, it sparked mountain moving faith in me and totally changed my life.

Facing the Dark Night of the Soul

If you have been at the receiving end of relentless spiritual warfare you will understand how dark, gloomy and hopeless life can be during such a phase. There was a time when intense spiritual warfare had robbed my family of our blessings and I encountered losses personally too. I looked for answers but didn’t find any at that time.

While working for CBN I happened to watch the testimony story of Vikram Shinde. This testimony shared by Vikram showed that the power of God was higher and greater than all the power the enemy holds. In his testimony, Vikram shared how his parents made every effort and even did witchcraft and took him to tantriks to get him to give up his faith in Jesus. He was forced to go with his parents and made had to sit in those ceremonies, but he prayed and asked God to protect him.

The Truth brings Light and Hope!

The wonderful thing about this testimony is that the tantrik told Vikram’s parents to stop what they were doing because it was affecting his business! He acknowledged that the power that was protecting Vikram was far higher than all the powers he had! When I heard Vikram say this it blew my mind!

Our God is so powerful that all the power of the enemy could not stop Him! I was so happy that it inspired me to write a song affirming the Power of the Blood of Jesus! The song just came to me immediately. You can find the lyrics of the same song at this link – click here

The Power of a Testimony

Are you struggling with an issue that makes you feel hopeless and powerless? Do you feel that you cannot rise above this impossible situation? I have good news for you! Our God is so awesome, that even impossible things are possible for Him! If you don’t know anyone who can inspire you to grow in faith, I would advise you to watch testimonies shared by people who received miracles and answers to prayer on God TV, CBN and other Christian programmes.

The Bible says in Hebrews 13:8 that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever“. The Word also says in Acts 10:34 that “Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons.”

You can have a miracle too!

The truth is that what God has done for others He will do it for you too. Matthew 9:29 says, “Then He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you.” Faith in the power of Jesus is the only requirement God is asking of you so He can give  you your miracle. 

Matthew 24: 14 says, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

If you are a person who doesn’t know Jesus personally, then the first step to receiving your miracle is getting to know Jesus. Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Seek Him and have faith in Him, He will not let you down!

Do you have a Testimony?

Matthew 24: 14 says, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” The Lord makes it clear that the Gospel will be preached to the whole world through testimonies! 1 Peter 3:15 says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

2 Timothy 4:5 Peter says to the disciples of Jesus, “But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist.”  

Matthew 5:16 says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” We were not given precious gifts by God to hide them! God asks us to use them and shine so that others may see our good works and know Who He is!

Share your testimony!

If you have a testimony. Don’t keep it to yourself. There are many people who are suffering from problem situations all around. You are blessed since you know the Living God who sent His only Son to die so you could live. A lot of people do not know Jesus personally as their Savior and they do not know how much He loves them. Sharing your testimony gives them hope, edifies and encourages them to seek the Lord for their own problems and impossible situations.

When we share what we experienced, no one can refute it. It doesn’t matter if anyone doesn’t agree with or believe what we believe. Those who cannot bring themselves to believe the Truth have no idea about God’s goodness or His love for them. However, since we have really received many miraculous answers to prayer, we can’t stop sharing what our Lord has done for us.

Those who are suffering now need our help… they need to know they are not alone and that there is hope for them. Perhaps it is a stranger… The Lord wants us to be a source of blessing and encouragement to those who are suffering and struggling in their lives.

9/11 Hero, Luis Alvarez – America’s Finest Gives A ‘Final Interview’

America’s Hero

9/11 first responder Luis Alvarez (Lou) has made one of the most moving appeals on behalf of all first responder victims still suffering the after-effects of Ground Zero. Luis himself is a cancer patient, presently in Hospice care.

On that tragic day in 2001, Luis who was serving as a NYPD bomb-squad detective, ran towards the danger, like scores of other first responders. They also continued to serve in the months that followed the attacks – at Ground Zero in an effort to bring closure to 9/11 victim’s families.

In an interview on Fox News’ Shepherd Smith Show, Luis insisted that he is ‘not special’ and that he only did what anyone would have done on that day – he did the ‘right thing’.

America’s Campaigner

After appearing before a House Subcommittee only a week ago, Luis was preparing for his 69th Chemotherapy session since his diagnosis in 2016. However, medical staff noticed his symptoms had worsened.

Treatment was stopped and he was rushed into Hospice care within hours. A born fighter, Luis continued his campaign to bring some sort of justice for those still suffering the ill-effects of the toxic dust in the aftermath of the attacks,

He wanted to make one last appeal and urge the Senate to pass the crucial bill in July which will ensure the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund will continue to help victims and their families for years to come. With this aid they will not have the stress or worry or the financial burden, particularly of health care cover.

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day.” (Psalm 91:4-5)

America’s Finest

The NYPD are known collectively as New York’s finest. These amazing men and women are not just New York’s finest, they alongside all first responders, are America’s finest.

Luis was diagnosed 16 years after the attacks took place, but he says the potential risk for thousands more in the future to have a similar experience is very real.

Mark Farfel, director of the World Trade Center Health Registry, tracks the health of more than 71,000 rescue workers and survivors. In actual fact over it is believed that hundreds of thousands are affected.

Newsweek reported in 2016: “400,000 are estimated to be affected by diseases, such as cancers, and mental illnesses linked to September 11. This figure includes those who lived and worked within a mile and a half of Ground Zero in Manhattan and Brooklyn, the vast majority of whom still don’t know they’re at risk.”

Honor

Our heads are bowed for Luis Alvarez and his family at this extremely difficult time. We thank Almighty God for giving Luis such amazing strength, courage and perseverance. His tenacity teaches us all to never give up and always do the right thing.

We pray that our leaders in Congress will indeed do the right thing in July and release the funds for our 9/11 heroes. We pray that they will see beyond the flesh with understanding and resolve to lift the financial burden from our sovereign heroes.

Failures Are Not Forever

“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.” (Lamentations 3:22)

In the verse above “consumed” = “finished”. At times we may fail in several areas. We can’t guarantee that we will be successful at all times. However, there’s something that doesn’t fail. NEVER. That’s His compassions. They never fail. Because His compassions never fail, and because of the Lord’s mercies, we are not consumed (finished).

So, the question is, as a child of God, we may fail and people around us may try to finish us. But God overrides that and because of His mercies and compassions, we will not be consumed.

What a solace we have in our God, who NEVER fails. This is something we can bank on. He has our back. So, we will not be consumed. I think we can be at ease instead of fretting over our failures. Thank You God, for Your compassions and mercies. Thank You that they NEVER fail, so are we NEVER consumed.

“This is my comfort in my affliction: for Thy word hath quickened me.” (Psalm 119:50)

Here, “Thy Word” = “speech, utterance, the Word of God”…”Quickened” = “to live, to revive”. This tells me that there will be afflictions that come our way. However, He would revive me, through His spoken word.

“For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret place of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock.” (Psalm 27:5)

Protection from trouble

When there’s trouble outside, He will hide me in His “pavilion” = “a hut, booth, cottage”. And also in the secret place of His tabernacle, He shall hide me, so that I’m protected.

When my enemies are looking for me, God shall hide me in the secret place of His tabernacle, where no one can enter or no one has access or no one knows the whereabouts, so that I’m kept safe.

This tells me that there will be times of trouble. But He will make sure that I’m hidden in the secret place of His tabernacle, so that I’m kept safe.

Hollywood Actress Declares Psalm 91 Over Home Saved From Wildfires

The American actress and singer, Brenda Epperson, best known for her role in the soap opera The Young and The Restless, was thankful her home and family were saved from the deadly wildfires that continues to burn in California.

 

In one of the live videos she posted on her Facebook, she showed the area where God miraculously stopped the fire and saved their property. Brenda said it was only through the power of prayer that God stopped that fire from reaching their home and protecting their terrified horses.

“… and the fire stopped. God stopped that fire right at our property line, right at our fence.” Brenda said in CBN interview.

She also shared in her Facebook post that she keeps on praying the powerful verse, Psalms 91 over her home.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in his mighty shadow. I will say of the Lord He is my refuge and my God in whom I trust. Surely, He will save you from the fowler’s snare and the deadly pestilence. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand but it will not come near you.” she said.

She was so overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness. At the same time, she encouraged the people to continue praying for the victims. And at the moment, Brenda and her family are going around the affected areas helping people. They are sharing the love of God to those who need it.

“The good that’s going to come out of it is I believe that revival, that God is going to wake us all up.”

Indeed God is powerful. No weapon against us will prosper because He is with us. His saving mercy is all around.

In spite of this massive devastation, we believe agree with Brenda: God is already turning this tragedy into an opportunity that will lead people to Him. Let us also continue to pray for the people affected by the wildfires, that God will comfort them and give them hope at this tragic moment.
