Kymberli Joye gave another record-breaking performance on The Voice. She already evangelized to viewers when she sang the song “Break Every Chain” during her Top 11 performance. Yet again, she succeeds in glorifying God first and foremost, above everything she has attained.
Kymberli is now one of The Voice Top 10 performers, as a worship leader and minister in her church, she continues to be God’s faithful worshipper in front of so many viewers. She sang the beautiful song, “Oceans” (Where Feet May Fail) by Hillsong United.
The moment you hear her sing, you will be amazed at how Kymberli acknowledges God’s presence. She does not just perform an ordinary song, but she also shows people, especially those who haven’t encountered God, what it feels like to worship Him.
It’s very inspiring to know that one of God’s worshippers and ministers stepped up to show the world that the God we believe in, is worthy to be praised. He deserves all our adoration. And above all, we are nothing without Him.
“So I will call upon Your name / And keep my eyes above the waves / When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace / For I am Yours and You are mine.”
This part of the song feels like Kymberli is singing from the bottom of her heart as if she is singing it at God’s feet. Kelly Clarkson, one of the judges felt the power of the song and even stood up in the middle of Kymberli’s performance.
Kymberli is an inspiration to so many people. Let’s pray for more talented Christians who will boldly step out of their comfort zone and proclaim the name of Lord in public, a generation that will use their talents and skills to glorify God, the same way Kymberli does every time she sings. Watch and be blessed:
