Drug addicts and gangsters who gave their lives to Christ reached out to police officers to pray for them in the middle of the street.

In Stockton, California, a group of believers who were formerly drug addicts and gangsters reached out to the community. The group called Victory Outreach Church wanted to share the Gospel with everyone. Their goal is to bring Jesus to the broken and hurting community through their own testimony of how God changed them.

According to the report, the Christian organization was founded in 1985. And throughout the years, they have never stopped doing God’s mission to reach out to the lost. One of the masterminds behind Victory Outreach, Karlos Valazquez, said, “We reach out to drug addicts, convicts, gang members. The hurting, the lost, the abused, any and all people that our hurting.”

Further, the group believes that “there is hope through Christ for everyone.” And that is their driving force no matter what hurdle the ministry faces.

Praying For Officers

Vostockton posted the video in 2018. But until now, it continues to bless and encourage people to be unashamed of the Gospel.

Apparently, the caption’s video revealed that authorities sent cops to that area because of the evangelists’ presence. Perhaps someone has reported them because most volunteers are formerly drug addicts and gang members. But just when they thought the police would stop and shut them off, “God turned things around.”

“They loved our message and everything that was being spoken,” they wrote. “They even let us pray for them!!! Praise God!!! We ain’t stopping!!!”

In the end, the former drug addicts and gangsters who used to be sought after by the police prayed for them. They prayed for God’s protection over the officers and their families.

“Keep using them to model peace, model justice, and to model love,” uttered one evangelist who led the prayer.

A video from a 2021 Memphis, Tennessee accident was recently released. It shows how police officers raced against time to save a driver and his passenger trapped in a burning vehicle. The entire situation was recorded on a cop’s bodycam.

On April 2, 2021, an SUV went out of control and crashed into an Olive Garden. It crashed so hard that it went through a concrete wall. Thankfully, a refrigerator stopped the vehicle from continuing into the dining room where customers sitting. However, the vehicle burst into flames because of the impact. One of the first responders to the scene is Officer Justin Knox.

“He crashed into the refrigerator — that’s what made his car burst into flames,” Justin said. “The refrigerator stopped him from going completely into the building.”

SUV

The driver of the SUV and his passenger was trapped inside the vehicle. As the flames quickly engulfed the fire, the cops raced against time to save the two people.

“In those moments, you don’t have time to think, you just have to burst into action,” he said in an interview. “I was truly thankful the car didn’t burst into complete flames. That’s typically what happens.”

Knox has just joined the police authorities when the incident happened. Though he doesn’t want to be recognized for his heroic action, he was acknowledged by the authorities as a hero.

“It’s a calling,” the rookie cop said. “It’s truly a calling to represent this city to go out and risk my life for other people’s lives.”

Viral Video Of Officers Calling To Stranded Victims To Jump From Burning Apartment

Madison Police Department recorded a heart-pumping video. The officers were calling out stranded victims to jump from a burning apartment. The viral video garnered recognition and applause from viewers.

On an early Sunday morning in Madison, Indiana, screams and shrieks woke up a community. Five children and one woman were trapped inside their fiery home. Fortunately, the police responded quickly and came to the scene.

But, one little girl did not panic and led her family to safety.

The police released a statement, “A child inside of the home began breaking out windows, and MPD Officers and Detectives were able to catch each child as they jumped from the windows. One adult female also [sic] leaped from the second-story window and was caught by Officers.”

Detective Shawn Scudder reported that the girl “wrapped her hands in a pillowcase to break the window.” She “held up pretty well,” he said.

The bodycam footage showed different angles of the dramatic rescue. The cops raised their hands while shouting and assuring the family members. “Jump! Jump! We’ve got you!”

They first drop the youngest one, a three-year-old child, and the woman, the last.

Because of their quick thinking, no severe injuries were reported. It also gained commendations and thanksgiving from the viewers.

Saving Lives

“Literally there are no words to say to express the gratitude for what these individuals do every single day. I don’t know anyone involved in this, but I know I am so grateful that these brave people went towards the danger and banded together to help these families! You saved lives,” one commenter shared.

Moreover, the experience left an impact on everyone involved, including officer Nichole Midgett. “I’ll take [that night] with me for the rest of my career,” she said. “The most important thing is that they are OK and that they are alive. Knowing that I impacted someone’s life, it goes beyond words, really.”

Caught On Video: Police Officer Saves ‘Lifeless’ 1-Week-Old Newborn

A police officer saved the life of a 1-week-old newborn who suddenly stopped breathing. The entire nail-biting scene was caught on camera!

Louisville Metro Police officers Noah Cole and Nick Greene were in the right place at a right time to save the life of an innocent baby. They were inside a gas station when a frantic man ran inside and asked them for help. He told them that their baby, Emma, had stopped breathing.

Without any second thought, the two officers ran out to help. Officer Nick immediately went to the baby who was in her mother’s arms and tried performing CPR on her little body. While officer Noah called for the rescue unit. The two officers were working against the time because every second counted to save that newborn baby.

“The baby was in the mother’s hands, and it was lifeless at that point,” Greene later explained. “We didn’t know if she was breathing or anything at all.”

Thankfully, after a few moments, the baby let out a cry signifying that she was breathing again just fine.

“She started screaming, so that was a sign of relief,” officer Nick said. “When the baby starts screaming and whining, that was like, ‘Okay we have oxygen in the brain, there’s oxygen inside the body. So, that was the ultimate sign of relief.”

During an interview following the incident, they were able to share the entire story. Officer Noah also emphasized the importance of helping other people.

“When we have our interviews in the police department, I’m pretty sure everybody says, ‘Hey, I want to help somebody,’” Noah said. “This is just one of the things that we do every day. We try to help somebody.”

The 1-week-old Emma is now at home perfectly healthy thanks to the heroic act of the two officers.

Street Preacher Arrested By 10 Police Officers For Preaching

A street preacher in Seattle, Washington, was arrested by ten police officers for preaching the Gospel at a public event.

Street Preacher Matthew Meinecke Arrested

Matthew Meinecke is a passionate evangelist who boldly preaches the Gospel to anyone. And in a recent event gathering of unbelievers in a park, he read the Scripture aloud to them. Apparently, it was “an event commemorating pride,” according to the report. As he was boldly preaching, ten police officers arrived on the scene to arrest him.

The preacher shared the incident on Twitter and wrote, “SPD has enough resources to send 10 police officers to arrest a preacher reading his Bible in a public park. Because it’s such a horrible crime now!”

Deemed A Threat To Public Safety

In the video that Matthew posted on Twitter, one cop warned him to leave for risking “public safety” accusations. They warned him that the consequences would be unpleasant if he stayed. But he resisted because he didn’t want to leave as he was “not in danger.” So, the officers immediately handcuffed him as soon as he resisted. The crowd of unbelievers then cheered in victory for his arrest.

Forgiving People

Later on, in an interview with the Discovery Institute, the street preacher shared the story behind the arrest. He revealed he was “not aggressively preaching,” but they still arrested him and deemed him a threat to public safety.

Moreover, Matthew revealed how some people ripped up Bibles and kicked them on “the ground back and forth.” Some also threw the Bible in a toilet.

“This was extremely violent,” he described.

“Why are they so offended by words? I just believe in using the Word of God, so if those words are so offensive…the problem is in you.”

But the evangelist stresses that despite the unjust treatment, he forgives them. Especially “those who have physically harmed and derided him.

“I forgive them,” Matthew said. “I don’t hold nothing against them.”

According to Faithpot’s report, “the number of cases of officers getting fatally shot in the line of duty” has risen. For that reason, they really need our prayers, especially since they are exposed to hostile conditions every day. That’s why a group of police officers were deeply moved when one little girl offered her prayers.

8-Year-Old Prays For Policemen

A photo of an 8-year-old girl from San Antonio, Texas, praying for cops in 2017 is still touching hearts today. The little girl boldly went up to the table of these police men who were having a meal together at a restaurant. She offered to pray for them and eventually discovered that they were mourning the passing of a fellow officer.

The 8-year-old who displayed the love of God was Paige Vazquez. In an interview with Inside Edition, she revealed why she did it.

“I always pray for people, police officers, because I know they have a rough time sometimes,” she remarked. “Sometimes a little prayer can make someone’s day. So, I decided to do that just in case they’re having a rough day.”

And Paige was right as the cops were indeed having a rough time, mourning for the loss of a colleague.

For the 8-year-old, praying and blessing others is a passion.

“You should always pray for someone no matter what,” she said. “Don’t be afraid to talk about Jesus because it might just brighten someone’s day and someone might do it for you too.”

A police officer risked his life to save a couple trapped inside a burning car just seconds before it exploded.

On March 12 on Southern Western Highway in Australia, a vehicle crashed and was burning in flames. A couple who was riding the vehicle got trapped inside. Upon seeing how dangerous the scenario is for the couple, Western Australian Police Officers risked their lives two save the civilians.

One of the cops on the scene was Probational Constable Reece Josemans and he describes the flame as unbearably strong. However, despite how dangerous the scenario is, they were determined to save the lives of those people.

“I remember the feeling of the fire, it was unbearable,” he said. “You’re just feeling it and you didn’t know you’re going to get them out.”

Burning car

A bodycam video of the thrilling scene was released on April 9. In the video, it can be seen how the officer acted against the little time he had to save both his life and the couple’s lives.

“I remember just making eye contact with the two occupants and at that point,” Josemans said of the couple trapped in the car. “I didn’t know how they were going to come out, but I knew that I had to find a way.”

Because of these officers’ bravery, they were able to pull the couple out of the car right before it exploded. Everyone was able to get out safely. A fellow officer applauded the bravery that these officers showed at that time.

“Those officers not only did their duty, but their actions were brave,” Inspector James Bradley said. “The only concern they had was the safety of those two victims.”

Filipino Police Officers Knelt On Streets To Pray As COVID-19 Cases Rise In The Nation

Filipino police officers and some local government personnel in the Philippines knelt on the streets to pray for the nation as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.

A local resident of Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines named Kimberly Joy Manuel shared a fascinating moment on Tuesday. She wrote, “I’m a proud citizen of Binalonan. Salute to all who participated in this event..”

In the post, we see photos of men wearing military uniforms kneeling on the street praying.

Apparently, the Police Officers of the Municipality of Binalonan knelt and prayed for the country, as well as some local government personnel and staff. Kimberly added that this was done “to heal as one nation regarding this pandemic that we’re facing.”

According to her, Pastor Roberto Geron headed the initiative. She also commended the members of the church who participated in the event.

Then she urged, “I hope and pray that you guys can help me spread this good news. So that we can reach other Municipalities and Provinces to have a unity to act and heal as one nation.”

Kimberly also wrote her salute and respect for the men in uniforms. And she ended her post with hashtags “#WeHealasOneAct” and “#LORDHealOurNation.”

Moreover, a lot of fellow Filipino countrymen expressed their support for such a Godly response.

Cleofe Jacob-Martinez commented, “O what a beautiful sight in the eyes of God when people humble themselves and ask Him for forgiveness, mercy, and protection.”

As of August 24, the Philippines has already almost 200,000 positive cases of COVID-19, according to Wikipedia. Of these, the highest counted is from the country’s capital, Metro Manila, with more than 100,000 cases; 132,000 recovered and 3,010 succumbed to the virus.

Let’s continue to contend in prayer for God’s protection and healing to the Philippines, and to every nation in the whole world. May this Coronavirus pandemic soon end in Jesus’ Name!

Police Officers Pray Together For Fellow Officer Affected By COVID-19

Sgt. Raymond Scholwinski has served Harris County Sheriff’s Office for 26 years. After he was tested positive of COVID-19, he was brought to ICU.

And on April 15, the law enforcement community decided to fight in prayer for their fellow officer who is in critical condition. They gathered outside the police department’s parking lot while adhering to the social distancing protocol being at least 6ft. apart. Also, everyone wore their face masks. Then the participants delivered a powerful prayer to aide Sgt. Raymond in battling the coronavirus.

The endearing moment included the Sergeant’s son urging the prayer warriors to “Keep my dad, our family, and healthcare workers in your thoughts and prayers.”

They stood in front of their patrol vehicles where the Sheriff’s deputies lifted up their hands in unison as they commenced a prayer. Lt. Shannon Bowdoin led the prayer while laying his hand on Sgt. Raymond’s son. He declared, “Father, we come to You now, and I come to You in the Name of Jesus. And I ask You, Father, to touch this family. I especially ask You right now, Lord, to reach down into that hospital room where Ray is…And by Your sovereign strength, power and authority, will You touch every cell of his body? Father, bless each of us with Your presence. Let each of us know that You have never left us nor forsaken us, and on this Passover day that we would see death pass us over…”

Prayer

Although Sgt. Raymond is alone in the ICU room, he is never alone in this battle. What these police officers did for their fellow officer is more than just any random act of kindness. Because nothing is more beautiful and powerful than being in someone’s prayer. Not to mention that all police officers of Harris County Sheriff’s Office agreed in prayer for his total healing and fast recovery.

Through this event, may we be reminded to fight our battles on our knees in prayer. To always pray to God especially with the pandemic enveloping the world right now. Let His Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven!

WATCH: Georgia Police Officer Prays Over Little Boy With Brain Tumor

In May of this year, 9-year-old boy, Jalen Manns, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. According to his mother, the tumor caused psychological and sensory problems for him for some time. It was evident that Jalen needed surgery as soon as possible.

For this reason, Jalen’s family created a Facebook page for him. In order to gather a support system across the nation, they shared his story on the page. That’s when a Georgia newspaper picked up Jalen’s story. The word got out fast from there and the community was quickly to rally showing their support for the young boy. However, police officers from Warner Robins Police Department surprised everyone when they provided great emotional and spiritual support, not just financial.

One day, as Jalen was about to leave for his biopsy at Navicent Health, several officers arrived at his doorstep. To their surprise, they didn’t simply escort the family, one police officer sincerely prayed for Jalen along with his family.

The comfort of prayer

When they were outside Jalen’s home, the police officer knelt down and laid his hand on him. This was the viral video posted on the Team Jalen Facebook page. When the officer cried in prayer to God for Jalen’s healing, their family members can also be heard sobbing in the video.

Knowing that Jalen’s favorite dog is a German Shepherd, the officers also brought gifts of t-shirts and stuffed animals, all bearing German Shepherd dog images and designs. The 9-year-old now has a collection of German Shepherds which has been dubbed “Jalen’s guard dogs.” All were donated to the young boy.

This very emotional scene, showing people in real life demonstrating their zeal for God, during this unfavorable circumstance in a person’s life is such a blessing to witness. These police officers from Georgia are truly serving and protecting lives. What they did is just remarkable. To God be the glory for their lives! We need more people like them in this world.
