Influencer Megan Ashley shared profound insights about the enemy, noting that the enemy is not powerful or all-knowing. Instead, he observes people’s “patterns and habits.”
The Enemy Isn’t Powerful
The enemy is a cunning serpent. His desire to be like God led to the successful deception of the first man, causing their downfall for generations. While he may seem powerful due to his actions against humanity, the truth is quite the opposite.
Jesus has already triumphed. Christ emerged victorious, and Satan was decisively defeated when Jesus atoned for humanity’s sins on the cross and rose from the grave on the third day 2,000 years ago. The enemy holds no power unless individuals grant him authority over their lives by succumbing to his deceit. This insight was shared and elaborated upon by Megan Ashley in her podcast.

Only God Can See The Heart of Man
Megan stressed, “He’s not inside knowing your heart and your mind.” Because “only God can see the heart of a man and the thoughts of a man.”
However, the influencer noted the enemy’s cunning tactic of ensnaring people through their patterns and habits over time.
“The enemy is taking inventory of your patterns because He can’t see your thoughts,” she explained. “He can’t see your heart. And so, He looks at how you respond and how you react to things. “
A Choice
Megan highlighted the contrast between Satan observing humanity from birth and God already knowing them even before their birth.
“The enemy has been watching you, but he never knew you,” she said.
Further, she told her listeners, “And I’m here to tell you the enemy has never been in your head. He can’t see what’s going on in the inside of you. All He can do is manipulate and deceive you into thinking things that aren’t real. Into thinking that you are incapable, but you are, into thinking that God hasn’t forgiven you, but He has. Into thinking that you’re not worthy, but you are, through Jesus.”

In the end, Megan remarked, “Nothing and no one can stop the will of God for your life but you. He can’t do it.”
She also advised in her caption not to give the enemy excessive power over their lives. Ultimately, it is up to individuals to decide whether they will heed the lies or allow the Spirit to guide them.
