Today’s Verse
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:1-3)
Today’s Message
Jesus pioneered our faith. He leads us in our faith. When we look ahead at our life, our race, we do not have to fear what’s ahead. Because we know who is paving our steps. Jesus goes before us, making our path straight. Do you have areas of your life that you fear stepping into? Maybe it’s a prophetic word that’s been spoken to you. Or maybe it’s a still but sure knowing inside your heart, a place you know God is calling you. Today, God is saying: let me lead you. I am faithful to see you through. Your race won’t be run alone. In every shadow and hard place, I will be there. Don’t lose heart! God is with you. Remember Jesus is at the right hand of the Father. He is your victory.
