Jeff Morgan is sharing his story of how 20 years of new age and occult practices caused spiritual torment and how one moment transformed his life in an instant.
Spiritually Tormented
Jeff grew up in a Jewish household where Jewish customs were respected. He went to synagogue, celebrated Jewish festivals with his family, and attended Jewish summer camp.
But he was also exposed to other spiritual practices like the new age and the occult at a very young age.
“As a child, we had like ouija nomads in the house, you know, things that we would get as gifts. And I would play with them and I would talk to spirits trying to get some sort of connection with the higher realm. I felt as a child that there was something more than me,” he said.
Spiritually Tormented For 20 Years
That was the start of Jeff’s search for a higher being.
As the years went on, he didn’t realize that he was opening himself up to dark spirits. He also explained that he was very insecure growing up, longing for love, attention, and connection.
But he found it in the wrong places.

He went to Los Angeles, which is a hot bed for the new age, and started participating in its practices. Jeff also tried Buddhism and other occult practices, but never found peace.
Moving to Israel and seeing his family suffer because of his choices impacted him greatly.
“Year after year, my wife starts to see me go more and more into depression and more and more into isolation. I was thinking that I was doing the right thing the whole time. It was hurting my family and I couldn’t see it,” he said.
The Turning Point
When Jeff surrendered and stopped pursuing other religions, God started to show up in his life.
“I’m having experiences that are related to Jesus; I’m meeting critical people that came up to me and started praying for me in the name of Jesus. My wife goes out and meets people that are talking to her about Jesus. My son gets invited to a church group with kids,” he said.
His wife also shared that she dreamt about Jeff being tormented, and that was when he started reading the scriptures.
“All these 20 years of practice, I have nothing to show for myself. I cried out to God, and He gave me Jesus. Day after day, I started to feel life coming into me. And I wasn’t doing it. It was Jesus. I’ve been searching for the truth for 20 years, and I finally found it,” he said.
