Dana shared her story about how she sought love through sorcery but ended up disappointed. Eventually, she realized she was looking in the wrong places.
Knowing God
Dana knew God from a young age because her mother used to read the Bible to her and her siblings, especially the books of Revelation and Proverbs.
“Since we grew up outside of Israel, it was okay to read from that literature. I became really curious about God and who He is. I found wisdom in the Proverbs, and I was fascinated, especially by how wisdom is sometimes personified as a woman, and then at other times as God’s wisdom,” she said.
For Dana, it sounded magnificent and wonderful. She wanted to know God more, but since her mother didn’t walk closely with the Lord, she never developed a personal relationship with Him.
Looking For Love Through Sorcery Didn’t Work
Then they moved to Israel, which Dana believed was part of God’s plan. However, she admitted that she got into a lot of trouble in her life and made some terrible choices, including getting a divorce.
“Well, I was in denial. I didn’t want to accept that I had sinned. That it was a great sin what I have done and the family that I broke,” she said. “I was essentially making an excuse for myself to say everything was fine out of love. And God is okay with me since He knows me.”

Without a solid moral foundation based on biblical principles, Dana made decisions based on her own desires and justified any behavior that suited her.
Looking For Love Through Sorcery Didn’t Work; God Showed Her What True Love Means
But her attempts to find peace through sorcery didn’t work.
Desperate to make sense of everything happening in her life, she turned to tarot card readings and began relying on what they told her.
“People couldn’t help me—flesh and blood couldn’t help me—so I thought maybe something divine, something spiritual, could. And where do you find that? I thought maybe in those cards, or with people who could tell me—sorcerers, fortune tellers, magicians,” she said.
But one day, a woman told her something unexpected about her future.
“She told me that my husband is not from this world, and that I would get through it, and it would be forever,” Dana recalled.
Yeshua
She added, “Now, okay, it’s been like three years, and I’m not married now. And so my husband is not from this world. When Jesus came to Pilate, when they talked, He said my kingdom is not from this world. I was like, ‘Wow, it’s You. It’s You who I’ve been looking for.”
“And so it was an amazing revelation for me that my husband, my bridegroom, is Yeshua, and my father is God Almighty. That changed my life, like when He answered my prayer. I wanted to see the sign from him, and he answered my prayer. That night, I can’t even explain how it happened because it’s still me; it’s my body. But I was a different person, I had different desires, and I had different thoughts. It was in the resolution of thinking, you know, the thoughts that I have,” she concluded.
