Encountering hurt is unavoidable in a world where people’s identities have not been completely restored in Christ’s image. Despite this, the hope provided by Christ prevents them from remaining in sin. However, challenging circumstances and feelings of guilt can sometimes tempt individuals to give up before realizing God’s greater plans. This is why Pastor Jud emphasized in one of his sermons: “Don’t quit when it hurts.”

The Harvest Ahead
Then, the pastor shared his own testimony about not quitting and how it led to a greater harvest later in his life. Jud described the season he is in right now, saying he’s “having fun” and feels like he’s “in the harvest of blessing.” But he also remarked that he wouldn’t have been able to witness all of it had he quit during the trials.
“But thank God I didn’t give up in the valley or I wouldn’t be able to see it today,” he said.
Jud then encouraged the congregation: “Friends, God has a plan for your life. If you’re in the valley right now, I want you to just remember these two words, ‘don’t quit. Just keep going.’ That’s 90 percent of the whole game. Just keep going. God will show up. You will enter into the harvest of blessing.”
