It is a straight froward act in which you acknowledge that you are a sinner; accept that Jesus loves you and died in your place; receive His salvation and repent of your sins. Finally, you need to make a commitment to turn away from evil to the Lord Jesus and ask Him into your life.

Say this prayer out loud:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen.
Jesus Christ is now your Lord and Savior if you believe this in your heart and confess it with your mouth.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
