The Fox News Sunday host, Shannon Bream, boldly shared her faith in Christ with the public and explained how her faith guides everything she has been doing in life.

Shannon Bream is one of the most prominent and respected journalists in Washington. She’s also a bestselling author who writes faith-based books. And now, the outspoken Christian public figure boldly shared with CBN News how her faith drives everything she does. Hence, she prioritizes her time with God daily to align herself with God’s will.

“For me, it is the number one thing in my life,” she said. “So I hope that it’s imbued in everything that I do. Reading, praying, journaling, I really enjoy as well, so that sets me up for the day.”

The journalist also remarked that whenever she misses spending time with the Lord, she knows “it’s going to be a more challenging day.”

But then she clarified, “But God goes with us as believers and walks us through those things. So, for me to spend that time with Him in the morning and lay that foundation is how I do everything else.”

Fox News Sunday

In 2007, Shannon began working at Fox News as a journalist. Since then, “she’s held many positions at the network,” according to CBN News’ report. And her most recent promotion had been in the “Fox News Sunday.”

She revealed her excitement in joining and working with such a great team.

“When I joined, there was already this excellent team of researchers and bookers and producers in place,” the author explained. “So it’s been a real privilege to walk into that and say okay, what new can we add, or additional twists, or how can we reach more viewers?”

Further, the passionate journalist also discussed the most “challenging” issues she encountered in her job. She mentioned “the war in Ukraine” and the “religious liberty” issue in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Also, in a recent book Shannon wrote entitled “Love Stories of the Bible Speak,” she emphasized God’s design for marriage, sex, romance, and dating.”

The Fox News Sunday host also shared about her 27-year marriage with her husband, Sheldon.

“He’s my best friend which I think is an added bonus to being in marriage,” she remarked. “We really try hard to model what God has set out for us – Sheldon to love sacrificially, as Christ loved the Church, me to respect him and really to be each other’s number one cheerleaders.”

Kristen Lagore Shares How She Turned From Being A Fan To A Host Of Hit Series ‘The Chosen’

Kristen Lagore shared how she turned from being a fan to a host of the hit Christian series, “The Chosen.”

In 2020, a couple of friends recommended the show to Kristen, a Christian speaker from Canada. At first, she was hesitant to watch it thinking that it might be boring and lame.

“It’s probably super lame,” she said. “Let’s be real, like can anything good at all come out of Christian media?”

While staying at home during the COVID-19 surge, she finally gave the Bible-based series a shot. Right after watching the first episode, she fell in love right away with the show and how it changed her perspective about who Jesus is.

“I fell in love with it right away, I wept through the whole thing. It changed my life, it changed the way that I see Jesus and how I relate to Him as a friend. I’ve never been able to see Jesus as a friend,” Kristen recalled.

She became a passionate fan of the show and soon, she was called to be an extra for season 2 of the show. Kristen flew to Texas for the filming and there she met director Dallas Jenkins and his wife Amanda Jenkins.

After coming home from the shoot, she posted an Instagram post about her experience as an extra for her favorite show. What she didn’t is that the video would change her entire life! Producers of “The Chosen” contacted her after watching the video and they told her they wanted to work with her as a host of the show.

“Let’s just say…’a dream come true is a serious understatement in terms of the past 3 months of my life. I went from being a serious SUPER FAN of my favorite TV show called The Chosen to being offered an opportunity to help create some behind-the-scenes videos to get this show out to ONE BILLION PEOPLE.”

The 700 Club Host Pat Robertson Retires After 60 Years

Christian Broadcasting Network founder and “The 700 Club” host Pat Robertson steps down from his position after 60 years of television ministry.

During CBN’s 60th anniversary broadcast, Pat Robertson announced the most surprising news that would shock the viewers.

“Today’s show will be my final as host of The 700 Club,” he said during the broadcast. “My replacement will be my very capable son, Gordon, who will take over as full-time host of the program.”

The 91-year-old host then shared that he would be devoting his efforts to teaching students at a Christian university.

Meanwhile, Gordon Robertson, his son, who is taking his place described his father as a “good and faithful” servant in his service to CBN for 60 years.

“His legacy and the example of his prayer life will continue to lead The 700 Club in the years to come,” he said. “And the best part is, he is just going across the street to Regent University and will be on The 700 Club regularly in the future.”

The Journey

According to CBN News, Pat will only appear on the interactive episode of The 700 Club monthly to answer viewer emails. He will also occasionally appear as a senior consultant on international affairs on occasional broadcasts.

Pat Robertson founded CBN in 1960 as the first Christian television network in the U.S. Six years later, “The 700 Club” was added to the program. Since then, it has become CBN’s flagship programming and is one of the longest-running programs in broadcast history.

Throughout the years, Pat has interviewed various guests in the program, including former presidents, prime ministers, Christian leaders, and celebrities.
