Hindu Worshiper Tormented By Evil, Encounters Jesus Right Before Taking Her Own Life

A Hindu worshiper, who was being tormented by the devil, encountered Jesus Christ right before she planned to take her own life.

Vani Marshall was born in an Orthodox Priesthood Hindu family that has three generations of Hindu priests. She was only a newborn baby when she was dedicated to the Hindu devils. At a young age, she learned to memorize and worship the names of over 2000 gods.

She has always been searching for God but she didn’t find God in Hinduism. So she tried to search for him in other places. Vani was 19 when she got disciples from a witch in an attempt to find God.

“The reason I went into that was not to harm anyone but to find God. Any which way at all, when you’re hungry, you get desperate and when you’re desperate, you will do anything to find God. So, I went after Him,” she said in her testimony.

Years went by, and because of her religious practices in the past, she was tormented by the devil. She suffered from severe pain that no doctors could heal. Vani drowned herself with painkillers just to numb her pain. She also contemplated committing suicide to stop the pain. But right before she almost ended her life, she had an encounter that changed her life.

Vani cried out to Jesus Christ. At that moment, the presence of God filled her dark room and Jesus spoke to her and touched her. Instantly, she was healed from her severe pain as she felt the power of the Holy Spirit entering her body.

“Sometimes, when it all looks lonely, the feeling that nobody really cares, He’s watching over you. He’s watching over you. It may not be tangible, but He’s over you and He loves you and He’ll come through for you. If you would just focus on Him and let the other stuff go,” she testified.

Freedom

The former Hindu worshiper got baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and legions of demonic influences left her body. Vani has received freedom after that powerful encounter!

“Everything and anything He wants me to do, I’m ready to do it. He has set me free, He has healed me. Anything and everything, no matter the price, no matter.”

Today, she is now a worship leader who is sharing her testimony of freedom and healing so that others would also get to know Jesus Christ.

Sexually Abused Daughter Of Hindu Priest Encounters Jesus

A daughter of a Hindu priest who was sexually abused as a child became drug-addicted for many years until Jesus came to her rescue.

Abused Sexually

Sangita Sharma grew up in a family practicing Hinduism. And because his father was a priest of the religion, their family’s culture strived for perfection and purity. Her dad was also a disciplinarian. Hence, her family lived in fear of the pain of the consequences of their wrongdoings.

At 13-years-old, a boy in their neighborhood raped Sangita. It went on for about six months until her parents found out. But unfortunately, they believed the boy’s defense that what happened was consensual. It broke Sangita’s heart as she felt betrayed. The people she thought loved her and would protect her didn’t even believe her. Since then, Sangita has found it hard to trust people again.

Coping Up Trauma Through Drug Abuse

One day, Sangita’s mom left her father and took the children too. They left the neighborhood. However, the trauma of the abuse continued to haunt her.

Then at 14-years-old, she started harming herself and started cutting. Soon, Sangita discovered marijuana and got addicted to it. She also ran away from home and lived an aimless and purposeless life. And for the next ten years, her life was built around sex and drugs.

Sangita recalled at that moment, “My life is wasted. There’s nothing to live for. So I might just as well do drugs. And if people are going to rape me anyways, I might as well make money off of it.”

Further, she came to the point of wanting to end her life. But a small spark of hope always kept her from killing herself.

Encountering Jesus

In September 2012, Sangita got the attention of a Christian testimonial video while scrolling on YouTube. She watched the video while at her boyfriend’s house. That’s when tears began to fall from her face.

For the first time, Sangita heard about the revelation of God’s unconditional love for her. At that moment, she felt God’s forgiveness and love that changed everything.

“I knew firmly that He was real, that He was the real God. And that there was no other God,” she testified.
