A Hezbollah fighter who became a Christian after encountering Jesus in a demonic attack prays for Israel and Hamas. He prayed “that the revelation of Jesus Christ would go forth.”
Former Hezbollah Fighter Afshin Javid
GOD TV previously shared about Afshin Javid’s testimony on how he met Jesus. He was a dedicated Hezbollah soldier willing to die for Islam’s cause. It was his goal to convert Christians to Islam. Not until a demonic attack changed his mind because only the Name of Jesus drove the demons away. Of which later, Jesus visited him in his prison cell, and he was never the same again.

Today, Afshin continues to live his life to share the truthfulness of Jesus Christ. It is now his desire to lead Muslims to Jesus. He founded a ministry called Cyrus Call, “which promotes friendship between Persians and Jews.” He was working in the ministry when the war broke out in Israel.
Praying For Israel And Hamas
In his recent visit to CBN, he asked for forgiveness from a family member of a Jew whose sister was kidnapped by the Hamas.
“I just want to say I’m sorry that your family is going through this,” he tearfully told the young lady named Sasha.
Then the Jewish young lady replied, “Thank you very much. I’m sure that a lot of Muslims around the world, they do not want this to happen.”
According to CBN News, the former Hezbollah fighter and his wife even prayed for Sasha and invited her for dinner.

Furthermore, during his interview with CBN, he recounted his powerful encounter with Jesus in the prison cell. And at the end, he offered a prayer for Israel and the Hamas people.
“You love the world, the whole world, all the people of the world so much that You sacrificed Jesus Christ,” Afshin prayed. “So that we will not perish but have eternal life. I pray today that the revelation of Jesus Christ would go forth amongst the Muslims and the sons of Ishmael.”
He continued, “I pray that You would remember that covenant with Ishmael, that You would go forth because Ishmael is thirsty for the revelation of love. For the revelation of Jesus Christ, for the revelation of salvation.”
Afshin also added, “Father, I pray that there would be a hand of protection that would protect Isaac on every front. Not only in Israel, but all around the world. Gives us visions, dreams, wisdom, to speak peace in this war.”
