A community hailed a pet dog as a hero as it rescued a child from drowning. The pooch was in the right place at the right time when the incident happened.

Jamie and Rob Osborn have been bringing Max to the ocean. They bond with their sweet dog in the splashing of waves.
Meanwhile, Max, a Staffordshire terrier/bulldog mix, loves the water. Once his owners would put him down on the sand, he would immediately rush towards the sea.
That’s why the couple bought him his own life jacket.
Max, donning his gear, would dive in fearlessly beside his folks while Jamie and Rob kayak and snorkel.
One day, Jamie, Rob, and Max were having their usual outing. And as always, Max was the first one to jump into the ocean.

Rob didn’t initially mind Max’s eagerness, but he then noticed a struggling child in deep waters. He realized Max was in the perfect position to help the drowning kid.
“Max was just swimming around, wearing his life jacket, having a great time when the young boy got into trouble. Rob had the boy call Max over. Max was just doing what he loves best – swimming,” Jamie recalled.
