Big Brother Comforts And Sings “Count On Me” To Baby Sister In A Heartwarming Video

Siblings have their way of expressing love for their younger siblings that is special. Big brothers, specifically, tend to get rowdy or sometimes bully their siblings. But this big brother from Ohio blew up the internet as he showed affection to his younger sister in the most gentle way.

Loving Big Brother

Colten Warren is the oldest child in his family. He often helps his mom, Charice, in taking care of his three younger siblings. Charice happily shares how responsible and a good big brother Colten is on social media.

One video of Colten immediately went viral as it captured the hearts of over 13 million viewers. It showed the 9-years-old lovingly hugging his youngest sibling, Clairadeen. As the music, “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars was playing on the background, Colten would sing along and dedicate the lyrics to Clairadeen.

“You can count on me, like one two three, and I’ll be there..” Colten sang as he swayed his baby sister in his arms.

“And I know when I need it I can count on you like four three two, you’ll be there. ‘Cause that’s what friends are supposed to do.”

The 16-months-old would then lift her head to look at her big brother as if she was singing the song back to him. Their interaction brought tears to many.

“I cried while watching this,” one commenter said. “This makes my heart so happy. The way she looks at her big brother, it’s like she knows he’ll always be there for her and protect her. And the way he’s so gentle with her and looks at her. That boy will forever be wrapped around that little girl’s finger.”

Charice responded, “My Babies. Thanks for the share. I’m incredibly lucky, this boy IS truly amazing.”

Father’s Hilarious Dance During His Son’s Chemo Treatment Applauded By Thousands

A father’s love truly knows no shame. Chuck proved this with his entertaining and hilarious dance show in a parking lot just so he could lighten up his son during his chemotherapy treatment.

Yielding family

Aiden Yielding was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, a type of cancer in blood and bone marrow. He needs to go through sessions of treatment to beat the disease. However, each session does not come easy for the 14-year-old. Thankfully in these moments, Aiden can lean on his number 1 cheerleaders: his family.

Since earlier this year, Aiden has received his medical care at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. But when the pandemic happened, the hospital had to apply certain protocols to reduce the risk of the infection’s spread. So, they’ve only allowed one parent to accompany Aiden during his treatments.

His mother, Lori, works in the same hospital. Hence, she stays by Aiden’s side.

Hilarious dance show

However, the hospital’s constraints did not stop Chuck from showing his support for Aiden during his difficult times. So, every Tuesday, when Aiden is undergoing his rounds of chemo in the hospital, Chuck is outside looking for the nearest window. The supportive father makes sure that Aiden can see what he’s about to do.

“Just anything to bring his spirits up a little bit, and let him know he is not alone. We are with him,” Chuck explained.

He puts on a full dance show whenever Aiden gets a break. He hopes to send positivity by cheering him through his dance.

In response, Aiden mirrors his dad’s dance moves from the window. The exchange goes on and on. “It’s funny watching him figuring out all that he is going to do. Yup. It just cheers me up sometimes,” Aiden shared.

Lori loves to see the showdown routine of her husband and son, and she records the moments. She said that it just proves how the family is important during rough times.

“Family is everything, togetherness is everything, but even when you can’t be together as a whole family as a unit you find ways that you can,” she said.

Furthermore, they have established a campaign called “All in for Aiden” and a blood drive to benefit Cook Children’s and the community.

“Family, That’s The Only Wish I Have”: Thousands Respond To Boy’s Cry For Adoption

A boy from Oklahoma has been wanting a place he can call home after staying in foster care for six years. After appearing in a news segment, thousands responded to his cry for adoption within hours.

Surprisingly, 5,000 adoption inquiries came into the state’s Department of Human Services just 12 hours after the 9-years-old, Jordan pleads on air. KFOR asked him if he was given three wishes, he asked for “Family. Family. Family – that’s the only wish I have.”

Jordan’s little brother, Braison, was adopted last year. And now he hopes, he will be the next in line to have a “mom and dad. Or just a mom. Or just a dad. I don’t really care.”

He added that if he could go anywhere in the world, he would choose to go to an adoption party for a home.

But the DHS did not expect to receive a tremendous amount of inquiries from families as far as New Jersey, Florida, Illinois, and Kentucky. Eventually, they had to implement an overtime schedule to accommodate all the applications.

Christopher Marlowe, a representative from the state’s department, carefully reviews each profile of the family. Because while in care, Jordan faced difficult times moving around foster homes numerous times.

Christopher said, “We’ve had a couple of families that expressed interest in adoption. But after we did disclosures, the families decided that it wasn’t the right fit for them or their family at this time, so we’ve had some difficulty finding placement for him.”

Finally, called to a home

He added that many of the kids in care have been through a trauma but “Jordan has been through a whole lot compared to most of the kids.” He continued, “I’m really excited about this and very hopeful this is going to be the breakthrough we needed to find this kid home.”

Meanwhile, Jordan doesn’t know of the people wanting to welcome him in their families. The DHS is being careful to not get the boy’s hopes up after getting disappointed before. They expect that Jordan will finally get his wish within six months.
