A wife testified about her husband’s miraculous healing and recovery that shocked the people in the neurological world.
Trina And Alistair Porter
Trina and Alistair Porter from Glasglow, Scotland, shared their story of healing and miracles in one of Andrew Wommack Ministries’ daily shows. The miraculous testimony began when Trina’s best friend got sick. She looked for healing ministries to help her friend and came across Andrew Wommack’s Ministry. When they heard that Pastor Andrew would visit Scotland, she grabbed the chance to attend a church event where she asked for a prayer for her best friend’s healing. During that time, she realized she was carrying a burden that wasn’t for her.
Since then, she listened to Andrew Wommack’s teaching, and that put flesh on the bones of what she had already experienced. It was an unforgettable moment for Trina, not knowing that God would use what she learned to prepare her for the battle ahead.
A Tragic Accident
In January 2004, her husband Alistair, who was an electrician, met a tragic accident that left him completely unconscious. He fell approximately 35 Feet from the top of a building where he was working. Trina received a phone call telling her they were taking Alistair to the hospital. After that, she said to God, ‘Okay, Al’s fallen off a roof, what’s going on?’ Then, God answered her, “He’ll be alright.”
Furthermore, Trina recalled that she wasn’t prepared for what she saw. His head was so swollen, and he was almost unrecognizable. It was a horrible moment for her. “In my head, I said to God, ‘You said he would be okay,’ and God very clearly said to me, ‘And I haven’t changed my mind,’” she recounted. At that time, Al had three embolisms. That’s why the doctor said to Trina that they didn’t think Al would survive the surgery. And if he did, he would have mental and physical disabilities.
Meanwhile, as she listened to the brain surgeon, she answered him, “You’re a very clever man. I don’t think you get more clever than brain surgeons. But God told me he will be alright. So, I want you to do the surgery.” That night, her husband had survived the surgery against all the odds, but his condition was deteriorating. So, the doctor came back and did another procedure for him.

Healing And Recovery
Again, Trina believed with all her heart what God said to her. She knew that her husband would be okay. The doctor said that he had no idea what the contraindications would be, but she boldly answered, “God said he will be alright. So you go in there, and I promise you this will be the best day’s work you have ever done.”
Further, God reminded her about Psalms 91. And it was written in verse 16, “With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.” Trina claimed God’s word, and she chose to exercise her faith. When the surgeon came out of the door, they received good news. Her husband’s surgery was successful. He stayed in the hospital for only 3 weeks. His miraculous recovery shocked those who were in the neurological ward. In fact, Alistair recalls that one consultant shared his professional opinion. He said that he was a walking miracle.
“With the accident and with the teachings that Andrew has so graciously broadcasted had helped me immensely. And I’m a lot more bold to pray for people to be well,” Alistair testified.
