“He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” (Proverbs 18:22)
This scripture is a great encouragement to all single women, looking for a husband. Pastor John Gray of Relentless Church shares this verse in the video below as he challenges women to “Learn to walk like a wife and not like a girlfriend.”
You may keep on asking God about your future spouse, but tend to forget about developing yourself as the woman God wants you to be.
In his own humorous way, Pastor Gray shares that a wife is not the presence of a ring. It’s the presence of character. “Carry yourself like you are already taken. When you carry yourself like a wife, a husband will find you but if you keep walking like a girlfriend, boys will play with you.”
Proverbs 31 is the best representation of a wife. Read this passage in God’s Word and reflect it in your life.
While you are still single, spend your time studying God’s Word and grow as His beloved Princess. Spend time with Him and discover your true identity in His presence. A woman who knows her identity in the Lord will never be shaken. You are beautiful. God created you to be unique. You deserve a husband but remember to walk like wife first!
